Getting Audio/sound Device To Work

I recently had to reformat my computer. Now I'm having problems getting my audio device to work. It just says this device cannot start. I tried the troubleshoot option but still didn't work. what should I do?

Have you installed your audio drivers?
You should have the drivers cd ^^
If you don't have the cd or the files, you can find the drivers online.

Looking at the screencap you posted, it's C-Media AC97.
Google it, I'm sure you can find it very easily ^^

I`m having the same problem!! Can u help me? I don`t have the cd and downloaded loads of drivers (AC 97)But not working.. sad.gif
