Has anyone been able to lay their hands on this baby yet??? I've been eyeing this phone for months now!

I'm curious on how well the phone actually is, like faults annoying features/good features, cause I'm seriously thinking about buying this phone, its just been released (well I JUST found out about it).

like the s500 i rekon this phone is easy to break, on gsmarena people said the buttons (keypad) crack o.o

despite the negatives im still going to get this phone been waiting for this for agesssss

the s500 keypad cracked because of a chemical reaction to the green paint. sony has gotten the problem fixed or something.

WELLLLL i bought the grey one and its coming tomorroooooww! so excitttttedd!!! my current phone is a razr... which sucksss BUTT.

i wanted to get the white and orange version but aparrently the sales people were like it doesnt come in that color *liars!*

got mine today, its not too bad the first thing that i did notice however was the material of the casing thingy, if your not carefull enough it could easily break like the S500i/S500 or scratch, i havent gotten use to the buttons yet cause they're differenct compared to the nokia 6230i *previous phone* im scared of pressing the buttons too hard or too fast wen txting incase they break =.=

picture quality is decent 2.0mp, can onli zoom in vga format, music player is reali good *nice and crisp*, it has the holey thing in the bottom corner for phone charms, urrmmm theres color changing lights lol, gamewise there the sims 2 *havent palyed yet* and a tetrez sorta game aswell and radio

mmmmm annoying features... none soo far the onli thing that i did have difficulty with was removing the battery case at the back, took me a while to do case theres no grip thing at the back, urmm sometimes the fone doest go on *lock*..

intresting features... it has a pedometer! not that i will use it but u never know lol, its has the same features as alot of sony ericcson phones. all in all its not too bad, u just have to be careful on how you handle it, its a very cute size and comfortable to hold, now if i can find a case for it then it would be oh sooo great =D

okk so i have my phone now and i loooveeee it! gonna get me some bluetooth headphones soon for my phone =D

but some things i don't like about it are the buttons.. so small and hard to press? i don't know.. and OMG the battery cover takes me foreverr to take off. i don't want to try taking it off anymore.. scared i might break it. ANNNND ANNNNND it's plastic. too bad its not metal.

Hows the shake feature? It must be weird to jog with the phone unless you can turn that feature off and on.

the shake feature not too bad u kno, u just have to flick ur wrist and bamb new song plays lol *the shake feature doestnt apply wen ur excercising.. i dont think =.=*
its comfy wen u go out for a little run around *i like the pedometer feature now lol*
as for the cost im living in the u.k so got mine for like £130 unlock =D

mmmm i like that colour for the W580
i've the S500, so theyre almost exactly the same, minus the pedometer, shake feature, and the walkman 2.0.
i like the themes for this phone too! i downloaded them and put em on my phone and they work! cept for the menu icons :T
but yeah, ive read about the keys for the W580 and supposedly they crack just like the S500.. id be careful =[ haha

was it only the green s500's that had cracked keys?

Cracked keys won't stop me from buying this phone hahahaha, now I just have to wait for them to bring it out in Australia *sigh*

hopefulli it was just onli the green S500i that cracks (no offence to those that has that fone) u can tell that if ur not careful with the buttons, it can crack

I just got it last night. I opted for the S500(better design, imo) but since this one had fm radio and is available from my provider, I got the w580 instead. I'm a bit disappointed by the shaking fuction. I didn't know you had to press the walkman button while shaking inorder for it to work. >.> That's even more work than pressing the damn next button.
About the cracked keys - SE is giving BS. The yellow S500s crack as well.

For the people who bought this phone do you have a cingular...or should I say AandT server? Because I am thinking of getting this phone at sonystyle and Im not sure if it supports my server, because I have a T-Mobile SIM CARD. Did you guys get it unlocked or something?

Im wondering if you can just pop in any type of SIM CARD to this or ANY phone that is sony ericcson. I was really pissed when my Nokia 5300 broke and wondering if I could just use this.

In sonystyle it has this thing where you can pay 10.OO a month, is that true?

mine came unlocked so i was able to put any SIM card into it (tmoblie wooo lol), but to put ANY sim card into ANY Sony Ericssons, in my expericence thats not the case.
