Has anybody ever installed the usb data cable driver for it? Mine won't work at all and the reference links are pretty much useless on the CD that came with it when I bought it on ebay.

Can anyone recommend a site or a way for my data cable to work so I can xfer files and media?

Samsung drivers are hard to find. I recommend that you buy a bluetooth dongle and transfer files via bluetooth from your computer to your phone and vice versa.

i've gotten the driver installed. not sure if this is relevant, but when i updated Samsung PC Studio 3, the program stopped working for me. So i had to revert back to the original version included on the CD.

speaking of which, don't use memory cards over 512mb as recommended. you will sorely regret it. I've had to go through 2 of these phones before figuring that one out. Idiots at the store told me that 1gig cards would work fine. turns out the phone will freeze and remain stuck at the boot-up screen forever. then you gotta get a new phone...

It's probably because of the firmware.

Do you mean when you plug it in, it doesn't connect?
If so, delete all the files that have to do w/ the Samsung PC Studio.
Then re-install them BUT install the USB Driver first.
If it still doesn't work, try restarting your computer and try again.

I never got the right driver installed, I think.
But I just installed and updated PC Studio 3 and it worked fine thereafter.

I bought a 1gig memory card, though, dirtbag. :x
