in just a month im going to be going to highschool.. and im scared like frik.
are the "freshman fridays" really that bad? how can you deal with all the upperclassmen when they're picking on you?
and i seriously need some advice on what to wear for the first day.. i want to make a good first impression..

Well where I live we don't have freshmen fridays o__o (I live in Cali btw)

Just be yourself and dont start drama and all that. There's enough HS drama all around us. Uppercalssmen might make fun of you guys and call you "freshmeat" then when you're a sophomore they'll call you "freshmore" but that's a whole different story.

Don't be nervous and just be yourself. Really HS isn't all THAT different you're just over thinking it.

Freshman year isn't really that bad.
I live in Southern California, and I've never even heard of "Freshman Friday"
Going to be a Junior this year and from my experience, I've never seen upperclassmen purposely pick on any of the lower classman just for enjoyment.
I was actually friends with a lot of Juniors and Seniors when I was a freshman.

Just don't think about it too hard.
Be yourself and enjoy your school year

We didn't have Freshman Friday at our school. I don't remember any other freshman being picked on at my high school. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Don't worry, you'll make a whole bunch of new friends and do fun activities. =D

Meh, it's not that bad, really. Just no one respects freshmen. But that's warranted, freshmen think too highly of themselves anyway.

I'm in California, and the freshmen here are being treated fine. It's just they're not as well respected.


I really think picking on lil freshmen is stupid like ok if you're so superior maybe prove it by picking on somebody your own age.

I'm going into my second year of highschool. when I was a freshman, it wasn't so bad.
no senior would pick on me ahaa. probably cause I look like a senior : P
& don't start negative things with them, and you're good + join activities, clubs or teams ^___^

You'll only be suspected of being a freshman if you look lost. Know your way around the school and you'll be fine. And there ARE such things as freshman friday's. Just try not to look dorky and stuff. Those are the prime victims of upperclassmen.

However, not all upperclassmen are bad. It's only the immature ones that take part in picking on little freshmen.

I live in So Cal and I didn't have any problems with upperclassmen threatening me like 2 yrs ago when I was a freshmen. Just don't be all haughty. lol Those are the freshmen that has problems. And of course you'll get called "stupid freshmen" or whatever but you'll get use to it. And you'll forget about your middle school so soon. Especially if you're in like sports or the speech team, because you meet a lot of cool upperclassmen in clubs and such. So don't worry.
