So I got a Wii for my birthday, and I was just looking for a couple good games to get.... I have wii sports and wii play right now. I was thinking maybe Zelda and Mario Party 8.. I've heard they are good...

Any suggestions?

Mario Party 8 I thought was really fun. I'm glad I only rented it though.

So far I own Zelda, Trauma Center, Elebits, Excite Truck, Rampage, Monkey Ball.... and I think that's it. All of them I'd say are worth it to buy.
Wario Ware is also a great game (So trippy. So Japanese.) If you've got friends willing to look like uber-morons along side you, I suggest getting it.

Be sure to get Mario Galaxy on November 17 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl on December 3! 8D

Best game i played on the Wii is Bleach >_> but u need a damn mod chip. Cooking Mama is also pretty entertaining. Mario Party is alright. A lot of the games wern't really that interactive and it felt like i was playing on the gamecube and n64 other then some mini games. Zelda is also a must have. My friends sister likes a game called elebits and u might wanna try that out.

trauma center is fun and good and it is a surgery game . but i have been playing on the easy mode and i still can't pass by this one stage!!!!
my brother liked zelda but he said it was easier than the other zelda.

But putting that important technicality aside, get Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros, Trauma Center: New Blood, Metroid Prime 3, and several others I can't think of at the moment.

People are also raving about Zack and Wiki...I'm just going to wait and see...

I like Wii Sports, but you have that. I have Mario Party 8 and Spider Man 3. Those are both good games, they're so much fun. I recommend getting those two games =P

yes. its one of the most anticipated games coming out for the wii.. however, no news yet about online play..

DON'T buy Mario Party 8.
It's totally not worth the retail price.

I liked Zelda, SSX Blur, and Raving Rabbids.
Super Paper Mario is entertaining and good, but too easy.

Wario Ware was kind of a let down.. Cooking Mama was okay. Elebits I think is only fun with more than one person. It seems like it'd get old fast alone. (played these three at a friend's)

I agree. The game was meant to be a party game. You need max people! I have it and only play it when there are 4 players. My sister loves trauma center. ITs a surgery game and she has interest in that and majors in that area so yeah >_<

wario ware is funny.. lots of short minigames.. minigames that are 20 seconds.... its a fast pace game though.. the games just keep going and its silly.. not bad if the games were longer imo

I have alot of games that I never played lol.. I like paper mario though.. but the game doesn't get fun when u first play the game.. too much story at the start ><

as for games coming out.. I'm REALLY looking towards SuperSmashBros: brawl...

it really depends whether or not you prefer to play with friends or not. D:

but in general, i think wario ware has INCREDIBLE game play value, and it's a lot of fun to play with friends. OMG, wario ware is so random and funny, LMFAO. wario ware is basically just a bunch of minigames that are incredibly random and quirky. i can't explain, but it's a lot of fun.

i guess it would be safe to guess that you'd want a game with replay value? so sport games and mario-related games are pretty fun. i just got done renting mario strikers charged, and it's SUPER FUN OMG. ksry. but yeah, it's really fun once you get used to it.

but i think there's also resident evil 4, if you're into that, or haven't played it before/planning to replay it again. i absolutely hate it (because of that one blind, wolverine mental patient who chases you around; i hate getting chased), but it's fun overall, if you like horror.

zelda is a good game, but i wouldn't buy it. i usually get games that are very good in replay value, otherwise i end up trading it in for another game.

I'm thinking you should get Monkey Ball. My opinion is Story Mode was more fun than the Minigames mode =P

mario kart is pretty good, it gets pretty boring when you're doing it alone
yoshi touch & go is really fun, i love setting records ^~^
of course, i don't own my own ds, i just steal my cousin's ds once in a while ~_~
