hey guys

right now for my business subject, i have to do a business plan (T-T) and create business of your own.
but the catch is we have to create something that hasnt been done before.
so like, for example, my friend is doing, a company that moulds the persons head, so that the hat can fit their head perfectly, and they can also customize their owns hats and stuff at the same time.

its probably been done before...
but oh well, haha...theres nothing lyk that, that exists in brisbane XD

any ideas of wat i can "create"??
i jst need sum ideas to get me started on thinking.

shouldn't you be brainstorming your own ideas? the point of the project is probably to be creative and use your entrepreneurial skills. don't take the easy way out and ask soompiers for ideas. sorry if i sound mean. i'm not trying to be. i just think it'd help you learn a lot more if you did it on your own.

I agree the purpose is to come up with the idea yourself! But I have a project like that too and here's what I heard is best to do..

You should look at existing products for inspiration and think "How can I make it more useful or more user-friendly?" or some other question like that. It doesn't mean you can make the same product, but you can base your idea off of what the existing product is trying to accomplish. Or, if you can think of a problem that you have, that is a good basis for inspiration too. For example things that make you think "I wish I could do ___ more easily" or something. Think of how you can solve the problem with a new product that is economically sound.

[For example at my school someone used "Guitar Freaks" as inspiration to create a working guitar with a light-up fretboard so that users can learn to play more easily.]

It's hard to come up with something completely original, so be really thorough when you search to see if it is already made. If you skip over something accidentally and it actually already exists, it will hurt your grade.

oh! I did this in my business marketing class 2 years ago. It's kinda vague now that I can't even remember all the details. lol. We didn't have to come up with a never been used idea, but we had to come up with our own product, do research on sales, market share, product packaging, advertisment, profit, logos, etc.

You can start brain storming by asking yourself, what age group do you want to target? what part of the country do you want your product to sell in? how do you want to sell your product? You can alway pick a country, and then write down their problems, or things you want to fix and then create a product for it.

What ideas do you have so far? Maybe think of something that you think need fixing (like something to help Global Warming, poverty, etc.) and then go from there.

oh man~! no more business plans~! i JUS did one x_x killed me.
well we didnt hav to make it up. so my group did an arcade. there were lots of interesting ones from other classes.
what i suggest is to think of somehting that people relli need. a service i reckon.
