Anyway,
I have exactly two weeks to school and I have no financial aid offers available. I REALLY need it to help pay for my classes. I've turned in all the paperwork and I can't just sit waiting. Anyone having this problem? Any advice on what to do?
How are you paying for college?
:edit:
Ok, so I signed up for an installment plan... i had to pay 50% upfront plus a small fee (what's up with all the university fees? geez). I also have to pay $1000 each month for the next two months. Not bad i suppose. I nearly had a mini heart attack while i was handing over my check though.
Now I have $4 in my bank account and owe my brother a nice chunk of money. That's my so called happy ending.

My parents pretty much pay for everything. Tuition fees, art materials, and my allowance. Education here isn't as expensive as it is in the US. If my parents' plan to migrate to the US materializes, my mom says I'd have to get a part time job if I want to study there. So I decided to just continue here instead.
How about a student loan?

Criticism does not equal bashing.

Your other options are: Credit Card or Short Term Loan with the University/College you're going to. Go to your financial aid office and ask about the short term loan or if any grants are avaliable.
The short term loan with the college/university.... normally I think you have to pay about 25% up front, so that's ~$1,000. Then you'll have to pay it all within 1 or 2 payments. Kind of like doing lay-away. So it'd be split up 1,500 between 2 terms (evenly spaced out) or 3000 all at once at the end of the quarter.

Now it's a couple months after I graduated from university, and I'm starting to wish I went for the student loan instead..
All the money in my bank account isn't really mine.. lol >.<

4k for just classes is not a lot compared to what some of you guys pay for college... which makes me feel somewhat better. it's just a huge amount to me because i live in a "low cost of living" state & it is a public college.
