Yea, i just bought this few days ago and its crazily addictive. Those who want to make movies or anything of that sort will love it. I can't stop thinking of ideas for movies, writing scripts and what not >.< Anyone else heard of this game or got it also?

i don't think its meant to be realistic or played that way, you're just managing a company. so who to hire like staff, writers, extras, actors, etc. change their clothing, control their salaries.
put up buildings that are involved like sets, bars and wtvr else. and you go from there.
in sandbox mode, you can do wtvr movies you want. but in 'career' mode you could customize your movies if you buy a required building.
you don't really have to invest that much time to get used to the basics, the learning curve isnt that steep at all.

all you have to do is play the "Story mode" for about 10 minutes and you'll learn. It's half a game half movie making tool, sure the graphics and things aren't like those of Pixar studios but it does allow you to throw those movie ideas you have down, or if you've got a good story you've always wished that someone made into a movie, this is the chance to do it. You can be pretty imaginative with the things the game allow you to do, just visit here http://movies.lionhead.com and check out some of the movies other people have made. The graphics of the game isn't halflife 2 material or anything but its decent, you can see the facial expression on your actors' face (which you most of the time can set their mood in the movie). The game isn't meant to be ultra realistic or anything, the downside is probably the fact that there isnt much camera control around the set or control of the actors but theres enough premade scenes for each set (theres alot of sets from wild west to city to alien planets) to keep you occupied with ideas. Another cool thing is the "Post Production" which allows you to add your own music, record your own voice and implement it into diffeferent character; with lip sync! and you can export it to a playable format so you can share with you friends or what not. there, just a short jist of the game.
