For the UC gpa do they use the weighted gpa or the unweighted gpa? or both? i am so worried right now cause my weighted is 3.0 and my unweighted is 2.9.

I think all AP and IB classes are given a extra point toward the UC Weighted GPA.
Some honor classes are also rewarded with a extra grade point.

i think my question was misunderstood.. what i meant was you know how the minimum gpa to get into uc is 3.0 right? well do they use the weighted one or unweighted one to determine the actual gpa? and thank you guys for the info. ^

I believe UC's use their own GPA calculation system. But honors classes in most schools are usually in accord with how the UC's reward points, so you should have nothing to worry about.
However, some schools put weight to classes that the UCs do not consider. So if it is a "honors" class that is boosting your weighted GPA to 3.0, you should check to see if it is "UC weighted"
For example, (stupid example
) honors PE (o_0) would be counted towards your school's weighted GPA, but UC's do not consider that class when determining your GPA.
