yeah i got one on my arm once! i remember my friend going to the dermatologist about it once and yeah it is the chlorine.. like your skin has some reaction to it.. my advice is to not go to the pool so often and like.. idk im vietnamese so my mom gave me this one vietnamese medicine to put on my white spot and after awhile it did go away =) but it went away faster once i stopped goin to the pool.. so yeah i guess the faster you want it to heal, the less pool time you have :X

Chlorine is an oxidant, so it ends up bleaching the top layers of your skin. Next time you go swimming, shower off immediately after you get out of the pool.

This doesn't happen to me & I go swimming everyday. But I guess like Ashley mentioned, I shower right after I swim, so maybe that's why I don't get white spots like you do.

they could be sun spots.
my friend used to get white blotches on her skin from being out in the sun
she had to use like a higher spf sunblock and moisturize and what not

I was thinking that too. It could be due to being overexposed to the sun while you're swimming.

This used to happen to me when I was little.
I had eczema, so my skin was more sensitive.
I got the white spots wherever I had eczema rashes.
They took a reallllly long time to go away.
Yeahh, I dunno if that helped you at all. Lol.

I think they're sun spots.
When swim season rolls around and I go to practice everyday, my tan gradually starts to fade but I don't get any white dots.

that's what it is ... i was wondering too...
i got one on my back after i went swimming at my parent's house in palm springs so its really frkn sunny and hot out there. a few days later, i noticed that spot on my back. it hasn't come off or anything, but it's not too noticeable. besides, i don't show off my back much anyway. but yea. it bothers me sometimes~ i hope itll come off soon.
