okok this is heaps boring but im doing it in english.

saying how media, like, newspapers, a current affair shows makes ALL teenagers look real bad like lazy, sex mad, vandals, drug addicts, delinquent trouble makers, wild, young criminals....? with their crazy statistics >_> its tru isnt it? they do tht alll the time~! and im not like tht >_>

and we jus hav to write a column sayn thts not how most of us are...

well.. i guess what i wanna ask you guys are what are your views on the media stereotypically generalising us? =S

I don't think it's necessarily a stereotype. It's their job to write about the extremes. Nobody wants to hear "Jimmy rescued a cat from the tree!" in newspaper headlines D:

They might exaggerate a bit, but that's just how stuff gets sold. But heck yeah, they should bring it down a notch :x A lot of people know it's not true anyways. Right? Riight? o_O

I, for one, don't engage into any of these activities. I'm the most innocent 13-year-old you've ever seen :3

There are a few articles bringing out the good side in teenagers. My sister was in a front page article about how girls can do science too or something. :] and I'd imagine some teenage volunteers do get a good mention after helping out at some event.

Of course, it's not as several as the negative articles. The newspapers give people what the people want, drama. :] 'nuff said


for some reason we like the dirt more than the clean stuff, it's just more exciting !! :] but I'm sure everyone doesn't think teenagers are brats.
