anyways, if there are any, what're you taking, and what year are you in?
I'm on my 1B term (although exam period is 'pon me, and my final final is on the 14th), and am currently taking Bioinformatics (although I'm seriously thinking of switching out...)
so, once again, 'nybody?
Oh, and I'm also kinda' curious whether anyone else here lives or lived in my rez... so... if you know the response, respond!

wrong, laurentian at barrie and sudbury are the most unbearable towns!!!
hahah you should have posted in the Canada network thread. anyways i'm a Waterlooser and i'm going to be in my 3rd year this fall term. i'm in honors sociology minoring in human resources management .. co-op right now i can't wait to leaveeee!!!! lol
i like how the town anchors me to study because there is nothing to do there except for ceaser martinis and house parties.
my first year in residence was at Mackenzie King Village (MKV) i know i'm in arts and that brand-spanking-new-air-conditioned-residence is mostly for engineers... i beat the odds by ALOT !!! hahaa it was awesome!
the phrase "it gets easier every year you are in University.." it doesn't apply to waterloo... the hardest part for this school is not getting into it.. it's stayin in it.

haah the Highschool down the street is what we call Laurier!
yeah at first i think the town blows, but once you get seasoned to it, it's pretty decent for a school environment

Jeahh same reason why I chose WLU is because of its size. You totally get the community environment. Everything is a walking distance and since there's nothing in the town, it grounds you and allows you to focus your attention to your studies. I think it's the ONLY reason why I've made it so far hahah. The only bad thing is random drunk screamers at night, but I guess that's the same for every university.

maybe it's because I'm living in rez...

Jeahh it's pretty much a given that you won't be able to concentrate living in rez... unless you LIVE at the library which is what the DC is for! Make use of it! But then it's okay to have some fun in first year, but still put in the effort

hahahah!! YES the 40 page work report that everyone starts a few days before it's due ... that's when you see alotta profanity on their msn nicknames revolving around work reports xD
Lauriens don't have to write work term reports????
tell me about it... i got woken up every morning at 4-5am from ppl building a new house right across from mine!!! SO LOUD... i'd trade that for lawn mowing anydayyy

And we only have to write ONE work term report for our first term... it's pretty much a BS thing unlike UW students where I think they actually write one like that and another on some topic related to their subject (which I find wayyyy more stimulating)
