Ticket Deferral anyone had their ticket deffered b4? plz help

SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!

I was in a car accident on July 31, 2007 i was wondering if i can get it deffered? ......does anyone know???
the ticket that the officer had gave me said "Negligent Driving 2nd Deg. (Accident Involved)"

btw does anyone know how much does "Negligent Driving 2nd Deg. (Accident Involved)" ticket usually cost???
because i was really shock by how much i had to pay!! $550!!! I really don't know why its that much when the officer who wrote it told me it was $175!!!! plus i wasn't drinking, i had my license and insurance.



if u guys think i can get it deffered, wht should i say?? sad.gif i really dunno because this is my first!

Not sure about deferrals.. and it varies per state too.

I know in California, what you can do for a ticket is pay the fine (which is basically saying guilty) and if possible a online traffic school to remove that point off the record.

Honestly negligent driving sounds pretty serious already... and i'm going to guess that you were considered at fault for the accident. If the insurance company was notified about the incident... expect your rates to go up (or hope they don't).

wow that sux Ive never heard of that in New York. How cna they give you a ticket for neg driving. they prob don't have prove. You should definitely fight it.

You need to look up your own state laws. Every state is different and we don't know what state you are in. I know the California vehicle code, there is no such thing as "Negligent driving 2nd degree." Never even heard of deferring a ticket in California. What does that accomplish, please explain that one to me.
