Well, my girl-friend had sex with her boyfriend during her period.
The thing is, he ejaculate in her.
Could she get pregnant?

i think the chances are less likely if you have sex during a period, but its always possible. Let me try to remember what my doctor told me... During her period she is losing the eggs her body produces so When he ejaculates there is no egg to fertilize with, BUT sperm can remain in the body for two days I think. After her period is over her body will start producing a new egg and if the sperm is still alive in there at the time, there is a chance she will get pregnant. I suggest Plan B, but she should plan ahead because ECP's are not good to take.

There's a chance of pregnancy pretty much any time. Unless you're or the dude is sterile or you've gone through menopause ...

The chances are lower though ... but still pretty stupid of them to not use a condom.

yes u can because u could always start to ovulate while menstruating...ANYTHING is possible when it comes to pregnancy. although chances are low some ppl are still conceived this way

I heard somewhere online that it's a pretty high risk right after period because you're ovulating soon. We'll just have to see 'til her next period because sometimes the sperm doesn't travel far enough. Best of luck !

technically, that's wrong, in the CERVIX it can last 3-5 days...but in the vagina, life expectancy of a sperm cell is 6 hours.

almost all of the replies are incorrect.


biologically speaking, during a girls period she cannot become pregnant.
once the eggs descend into the fallopian tube and travels outward, becoming her "period".
thats it.
those eggs are already being discarded.

therefore she cannot become pregnant.


however, if it is near the end of her period i suppose there is a small likelihood.
as most of the unused eggs have been discarded, and the production of new eggs has begun.
however it takes time for this to happen
thats why they say its safest to have sex right after a girls period ends
because she hasnt started ovulating.
of course this is incorrect, you can become pregnant then.
the likelihood for pregnancy is just lower.
