Finally our first away win of the season against boro LOL. Long time coming and a last min goal as well, get in there my son! Its all to play for now, relegation dog fight but hopefully we will stay up...it will be funny if newcastle go down under keegan.

Oh man Eduardo's injury was just horrible and what a great captain gallas was, acting like a spoilt child with that last min pen. Why was he at the other end of the pitch? If I was wenger I'd be shouting at him to get up to the edge of the pen box just in case the player misses the pen and clears the rebound.

I can seriously see Man utd do another treble, they've got the squad, just look at the players that came of the bench today...ronaldo and rooney.

Looks as though spurs had a hangover from there carling cup win against chelsea...birmingham look a different side with the manager on board!

yup really a morale boosting victory for Reading, after the series of defeats. they did have a Kevin Doyle goal disallowed in the first half for a foul on the Boro keeper or something.. Downing had a penalty appeal waved away n booked for diving instead. but it was certainly a good time for Reading to score, jus right at the end of the match.

haha i think Spurs are still in the celebration moods after their winning Cup run. When was the last time Forssell get to score a hat-trick? Spurs already qualified for Europe by lifting the Carling Cup, isnt it? guess they wont mind settling somewhere in mid table, since they have no real relegation threats.

wow dramatic FA Cup actions last night. Barnsley in the semi-final?! who would have expected that coming.. After dethroning Chelsea, and Liverpool in the previous round, i dun think anyone dares to bet against the chances of them reaching a dream final now. i watched the Man Utd - Portsmouth n the Red Devils are indeed unlucky to go out. They had so many chances but Portsmouth has to thank Johnson and Distin for clearing off the line when the ball seems a certainty to go in!

How about Cardiff and Bristol Rovers to go through tonight to complete the list? its actually a fresh start that we finally see some other teams outside the Big Four progressing to the finals. For once, we get to experience the giant-killings and shocks of a Cup romance in recent seasons.

wow, only went on holiday for a week and abit and what do you know, chelski and utd are out of the F.A cup LOL and now utd are on top and have a game in hand. This is going to be a great cup final and I hope barnsley win it, as they deserve it with knocking both pool and chelski out.

Reading are finally out of the relegation zone but theres a tight group and still in the thick on it. I just hope newcastle will keep on struggling..lol they havent even won under keegan yet, thats 3 months!!! worse then big sam. With this form they WILL go down!

Not many EPL fans here I think? Anyway new soompi-er EPL follower here. I'm a gooner through and through. Has been since 1996 and moreso from following players or legends such as Adams, Keown, Winterburn, Petit, Parlour, Dixon to Henry, Pires, Vieira, Campbell, Cashley, Bergkamp to now: New generation of Cesc Fabulous..ahem I mean Fabregas, Flamini, Adebayor, Dudu, Toure, Gallas etc.

As much as I wish that happened, not many fans will turn up I reckon for the match. The atmosphere in the stadium will probably be way down thus drag the match down as well? compare to when big 4 participates in the cup final. Anyway, here's wishing that West Brom wins this lol. I want to see at least one Korean here. Kim Doo Hyun! lol.

Haha and Keegan said "I want to bring in Henry and other couple of world stars" lol. Didn't Newcastle also bid for Ronaldinho? I already knew they'll struggle more as soon as they hired Keegan. Sacking Big Sam was a big mistake especially in mid season. If they want to replace, they could've gotten someone like Harry Redknapp, Hughes or even Martin Jol... Keegan is past it as manager. He hasn't been successful since his early Newcastle days as manager...

Just saw Scums (spurs GG) play against Pompey. Pretty boring first half but scums got the late goals from Bent (surprise surprise) and O-hara (talent...). But what I want to talk about is....Berbatov. Class written all over him lol He got two assists and generally, just toyed with defenders. I really hope he doesn't choose Man Utd if he is leaving...or else they are really stacked everywhere...

Im pretty certain, wembley will be packed out even if its barnsly vs cardiff...why? cause its prob their only chance to see them lift the cup in wembley!

The spuds are playing very well esp under ramos, and I agree Berbatov is a wasted talent if he decides to stay. Gooners are loosing the plot at the moment, it goes to show the squad isnt strong enough. No real leader to lead the talented youngsters so the title is out of reach for you guys, maybe next year.

In the meantime Reading are 1-0 up...come on you royals!

I agree. Ramos did one fine job for them. I was quite a fan of Martin Jol (could be quite surprising, coming from a gonner) because he brought Lee Young Pyo and had quite a faith in him but seems likes Ramos buying talents such as Hutton and bringing in the likes of O'Hara and dropping the likes of Lee paid it off at the end.

As for Gunners, Hey! This year's our year! We'll do the double XD and buy talents such as Aguero, Nasri, Benzema. Oh gosh! lol.

Imagine:
Almunia
Sagna - Toure - Gallas - Clichy
Hleb/Eboue/Walcott - Flamini - Cesc - Nasri/Rosicky
Adebayor/Benzema - Aguero/van Persie

DAMN!!! LOL;; well..one can only dream...at least that's what's happening in my FM 08 cool.gif

it's more than likely that it's over for us winning EPL. what a crappy way to lose. being 1-0 up then dogba (i call him that...) scores 2.

here's the goals:
Sagna
dogba
another dogba

gutted. well, im not giving up but...at least we play liverpool in the champions league tongue.gif

here's man utd - liverpool goals. watched the first half of this match then turned it off. it was all over by then with mascherano getting stupid red card for arguing with the calls. and man utd were already up by then anyway...furthermore, park didnt even make it on the bench list. so meh!

Brown
Ronaldo
Nani

what was Mascherano thinking....you cant swear at the ref with every single decision...so he was bound to get a red card. Park is a good player, full of energy and will get games. I dont rate Seol though and quite glad we sold him as lets be fair isnt up to standard now. We won 2-1 against Birmingham which is another boost for us.

England vs Arsenal tonight, i mean France lol Shocking performance by us, we were totally out played by France and as usual, James was back doing what he always does in an England shirt - making mistakes!

Can't wait for Foster to take the gloves once he finally gets some games under his belt playing regular fottie with Utd. We have to sort out the keeper situation. Why was Carrick left out of the squad? Bentley should've started and Becks just get your 100 cap and off you go...below par performance.

anyone watch the liverpool vs Arsenal game? amazing match from a neutral point of view! Why doesnt Wenger start with Walcott, the guy is the next Henry, started in his own box and went pass 6 pool players and set a goal up..top class! And he's english, finally we've got a gem.

Pool are just soooo lucky in the champions league, now they face chelski lol...thats got a draw bore written all over it. Chelsea will want revenge for the past two years. But imagine a Man Utd vs Liverpool final..now that will be epic!

Back to the match, how was that a penalty? Toure brushed him to get out of the way, Babel was looking for it and deceived the ref. Torres is a top player, very quick and what a goal!

Go Man Utd! they shouldn't get the draw, but heck - they were behind. and Arsenal got a draw with Liverpool.

So I'm satisfied biggrin.gif

Glory Glory Man Utd! XD
