There's been a growing problem with my music files that's been bugging me more and more.
Some of the music files (mp3s only, since I don't have much of other filetypes) on my computer seems to have mysteriously added an extra 1/2 or 1 second to the end of the song, where the extra time is basically a repeat of the end part of the song.
For example if a song ends in "the sky is blue", it would play "the sky is blue-is blue"
At first I thought it was because some of the files had errors to begin with, but lately I've found that even the files that I KNOW have no problems are beginning to have this problem.
Is this some kind of virus? How do I stop this from happening to my other files? Any help would be greatly appreciated. U_U

take those mp3's and play them on a regular mp3 player. You could also try using a different mp3 player on your computer like Winamp or something like that. This way, you can tell if it's really the mp3 or whether it's your computer mp3 player program. If you are using winamp, try changing some of the DirectSound settings in the winamp configuration menu. It sounds more like a soundcard or mp3 player setting [like sound buffering setting] than a virus.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it out.
