so my firefox keeps wanting to update, but every time it does it tells me that something cannot update so it'll try again later. I don't really know why and there seems nothing wrong with my computer and I don't really care, but this message pops up ALL the time. I was wondering if there was a way I could find out what it's not being able to update or if there was a way I could tell to not update that particular item anymore. The message is driving me crazy.

Have you considered downloading the newest version of firefox then manually installing it?

Otherwise I advise against it since updates often fix security holes but sometimes working around a problem is easier than fixing it.

not really...it'd be a pain in the butt to have to remember it myself. Thanks for showing me where the updates tab is, somehow I missed it when looking around. Apparently it's some security update that's not going through:



maybe this has something to do with how I can't get the windows media plugin to work...
