I dont know if I'm alone in this,but this story has a tragic vibe to it. I get this feeling that Jay's stomach ulcer, could turn out to be much worse, than we thought and I dont mean pregnancy scare ,but something malignant.And Jarte will realize too late ,that he is going to lose her, and repent all the harsh treatment,he has given her,thus far.

I would kinda like to see that actually. And yeah thinking more about it (well I've been thinking more about it because this latest chapter really p*ssed me off-sorry to say ^^) What other reason could there be for Wann giving Jay stomach ulcers at this point in the story. I was thinking that Jarte is going to encounter Jay having an episode with her ulcer(s), sooner or later, and is most likely going to think that she's pregnant. Jay would probably protest that she isn't pregnant and that it's just stress-induced ulcers. And once (of course if the story proceeds in this manner) Jay gets a check-up to be sure that she isn't pregnant (which if the story continues this way-of course this is what I'm thinking), they will find something else...something much worse than they anticipated.

And then Jarte will realize what he's done.

At the end of the day, Jay began to have health problems when she came across that media coverage of Jarte getting engaged to Madeline. Ugh, I really didn't like this chapter, I definitely need something to block it out. Seriously, I think netcomics or whatever, when they give us such a miserable chapter they should give us double release, with the intention that the proceeding chapter has more of a happier overtone.

Well Ecomix has released ch65.

Here's the link. I'm pretty certain that some people have already commented on it. Just wondering if anyone wouldn't mind translating a couple of the comments. Maybe this chapter is not even really worth all the hype and anticipation T.T

Thank you so much happy.gif

^ i've tried making an account at ecomix before in order to try and preview chapters, but you have to either live in korea or be a korean citizenship in order to register... crazy.gif
well, that means one more week (exactly) of waiting left for me for chapter 65...
thanks for the info anyhow!

the new chapter is now available on netcomics...
jarte is so stupid!
the whole thing was just pointless...
at one point, jay went up and hugged jarte and asked him to return to the way he was before and he just stomps off but then mopes off by himself...
a boy tried to get revenge for his father whom jarte had ruthlessly ruined and jay asked jarte to show the boy some compassion.
jarte talks to himself about how he wants to do everything for jay but he thinks that if he starts doing her favors, she'll ask him to let her leave...
he's so stupid! if he'd just admit that he loves her, jay would surely marry him! gah!
anyways, toward the end of the chapter, jay refuses to sleep with jarte one time and jarte comes back by blackmailing her.
jarte tells jay that if she doesn't listen to him he's going to arrest her brother...
crazy.gif
i really hate jarte right now...he's being really idiotic...
the good news that i've heard is that this series is nearing its end!
maybe we can look forward to a happy ending in volume 10!

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, though it's not really bad news, but if you go to the 100% Perfect Girl page on Netcomics, it now announces that the series will be 11 volumes long @.@;

I can't believe we have to endure an extra chapter of this stupid cr*p (sorry for the language)

Yeah, ch65/vol9ch6 totally sucked too. I'm getting tired of this. Seriously, I'm really losing my interest and desire to continue with this story these days. -.-;

I know I'm a little late jumping on the bandwagon here. I read the first 3 volumes 2 years ago, and continued reading some of the chapters on Netcomics up till about volume 5 or 6 I think (I forgot). It seemed like such a nice story at first, but it just dragged on and on, and become way too dramatic. Plus it was aggravating waiting for the next chapter so I simply stopped over 8 months ago. Now, I just read people's comments and that's how I find out what's been going on wink.gif One thing I really like is the artwork though.
At the end of the evening she is tired and wants to go home.
But the Red Shoes are not tired.
In fact, the Red Shoes are never tired...

Hahaha, read chapter 66 yet? It's funny--the mangaka could totally read our thoughts--how stupid Jarte is. Anyway...it certainly didn't lighten things up.

I shouted out loud just as I did at the end of the last 2 chapters--in frustration. ARGH!

Anyone know if the title/series was inspired by Haruki Murakami's short story? Might have come up previously, but there's 11 pages and I'm lazy.

I'm not really an anime or manga fan, but I might give this a try if it is.

Actually it was, on some level. In fact the beginning of Murakami's story is what starts off the series. His name also shows up in the beginning.

Well chapter 67 has been released on Ecomix.

http://ecomix.co.kr/comic/detail.php?uid=9609

Perhaps if anyone can understand Korean, they could please translate some of the comments made at the bottom of the page regarding the chapter.

I don't wanna get my hopes up only to be disappointed...again -.-;

Thanks

Yeah, chapter 67...nothing...absolutely nothing really happens at all in the end, Jay is by the pool in the evening it seems, just thinking to herself how lonely she is, how miserable her situation is with Jarte, and how she wishes someone would be there to accept her and comfort her. Tell her everything would be alright, so that she could get through it. Jay thinks of Lennox.

Right then she faints into the pool. Someone tries desperately and frantically to get Jay to open her eyes. Her vision is skewed and she remarks on a familiar voice trying to wake her up. She sees Lennox, however is it really him? Or just in her head?

That's the only part I felt was worth mentioning. Ugh, a lot of people are frustrated with this story. It drags on waaaaaay too much, and isn't making a point. Another disappointing chapter I must say, this time because absolutely nothing happens that solves anything.

Here's waiting for volume 10...finally. Though the story did get dragged out to 10.5 volumes-half of volume 11 is related to the main story, and the rest will be side stories. Whoopie!

It's really frustrating, having to wait 2 weeks for each chapter and being disappointed with the slow progress or any progress at all in the relationship of Jay and Jarte. Hopefully, the ending will appease to our satisfaction and rekindle our delight in having follow this story for such a long time. Somehow, I get the feeling that Jay is pregnant, seeing that she has not been in the best of health. I like the part where she was spanked for her misbehaviour like a little kid who did not listen to her parent.

Hahhaa, at that point I thought their relationship would get better. I am suspecting Jarte saves her, though I have no basis. Either she spills everything to Jarte thinking it's Lennox or Jarte things she has some other man in her heart for further drama. Or not, hahaha.

I actually forgot about Lennox. What happened to him?

Judging from Wann's point of view, I think the it would be the latter. "Jarte thinks she has some other man in her heart for further drama", just like what had happened with the rest of the guys Jay had encountered. It always adds fuel to the fire that both Jay and Jarte had with each other -- mostly a times igniting things in a negative way. dry.gif

But if such possibilities would arise that the author would choose to let Jay be truthful towards "Lennox" thinking it was him, then all the better for the story <but shouldn't it then just end with 10 volumes if both knew they love each other already?> Dragging the story more would no longer be interesting... mad.gif

...... oooorrrr.... it could be that Jay thought it was Lennox then said such things such as save me, or i don't to live here anymore or whatever lines that would make Jarte angry. Possibilities like that might even be stronger <usually a slip of a tongue fromo Jay would make Jarte all work up thus putting a strain more in their relationship> *shrug*

Sooooo many possibilities that could happen... T_T

Lennox.. Lennox... lol, even I wonder whatever happened to him. Hopefully thinking of other ways to help Jay without her knowing. *shrug*
