ok so like on collegeboard.com
they have this academic tracker to see if you're on track for the college you want to go to
so its basically like if you've fulfilled their requirements
so i was checking mines for my reach/dream school.. UC BERKELEY.

and like basically, it says i'm behind one class of social studies!

of history classes, i've taken modern world history, us history, and government.
only government counts as social studies.

so does this mean i'm screwed?
o_o

or should i waste a semester my senior year taking another social studies class ?
my school offers 2 other social studies class, psychology and ethnic studies..
i'd only be able to take ethnic studies though.
but it's the last period of the day! which means no free period for me sad.gif

what to doo??

Uhm... I've never heard of that.
UC's require like 3 years of history?
And you have that covered.. o_o;
Check out the University of California website and see if you can find information there.
Sometimes collegeboard is weird like that.. ;;
Good luck!

thats really odd because us history and world history are definitely a social study class. i think asking your counselor would be a more definite answer.

Look at your school's specific classes for social studies and see if they meet the a-g requirements.

yes that is odd because world and US are requirements that every (well i think every) student should take. and economics too.
make sure you check at the offical school website to make sure

I think you're missing Econ.
Cus I took IB Nonwestern Cultures (kinda like world History), AP European History & AP US History so far.
So as a senior, I'm taking AP Gov't & AP Econ.

& I'm pretty sure I meet the UC requirements.

But yeah you should talk to your school counselor just to make sure
