hmmm im kinda confused... i thought u giuys said inkigayo would air on wednesdays now, then how come there's inkigayo today (21oct)? is today the last time it will air on sunday?

anyhoo im watching it now and it looks like an awesome lineup today! hope wg gets mutizen! but there's suju........ aww!

No one said it would air on Wednesday. Today is the first time that it returns being a live broadcasted show on the same day it's always been; Sunday. They will no longer pre-record on Thursdays. Wednesdays were not mentioned.

^ The reason for the theme is Inkigayo's return to going live rather than pre-recorded. They wanted to do a red carpet thing to introduce the new show and as such they did a "red" theme where all the guest put a splash of red in their outfits or hair, in Heechul's case

As an aside, what is with Korean artists sampling classical music and now opera?!?! Ivy, then Yangpa, and now Bae Seul Gi?

There is a chance that next week's Inkigayo 10/28 will air at 4:30pm rather than the usual 3:30pm due to a golf tournament.

Lee Seungi will continue to co-MC Inkigayo with Heechul until a permanent co-MC is decided upon. They said that because Jang Geun Suk was so good and matched so well with Heechul that they are having a hard time coming to a decision on the permanent co-MC. They talked about Lee Seung Gi's mistake in the closing of last week's so where he said "Music Bank" instead of "Inkigayo." The PD said basically that it wasn't like he did it on purpose so they aren't too concerned about it.

There isn't going to be Inkigayo this coming Sunday 11/4 due to SBS airing "Sharing Love Concert" at 3pm. But the normal folks that you would see on Inkigayo, you'll probably see there.

Also, according to this article, we will see a new guest MC or maybe a permanent co-MC for Heechul for the next Inkigayo on 11/11 since Lee Seung Gi said that 11/4 would be his last day guest MCing with Heechul. Inkigayo still hasn't announced a new co-MC as of yet.
