Hehe...It's called Take 7 because they want to honor 7 artists/groups. There's not much to explain. Artists who enter the Take 7 means that their individual song is popular (I think fans vote for it). The one who wins is the artist that has the most votes from the fans...however, the artist has to be performing that day to actually win the award. To me, it's like a popularity contest.
