at times people can be very blahh and bash other people on the internet
what do you do when this happen to you?
do you simply ignore it? or you go on argue a little more?

If it's something stupid like "lul john tesh u son of a pinkberry go john tesh urself and die" then I just ignore them because trying to argue with pure idiocy won't get you anywhere. However if they're arguing with you then you should argue back and take your stand.

I don't think it has ever happened to me before... I have gotten into arguments with people I don't know but that's about it. I would ignore it, since it's the internet, not real life.

Most of the time, I stay away from online arguments.

I don't know why, but I always into arguments with the older crowd (18-20 years old x__x), and when I respond, they don't take me seriously because I'm thirteen. They use personal attacks that don't even relate to the topic, and they expect to be treated with utter respect just because they're older. Oh please, I know so many 94'ers (12-13 years old) who type properly and respond to threads open-mindedly. And yet it's the older crowd who keep on posting threads about how middle schoolers are so "corrupted" and such. Agh. Sorry about the rant >__> We're just so stereotyped it's not even funny.

It really makes me mad sometimes. D: I get over it sooner or later, though.

Welcome to the Information Age. Forums can allow for the exchange of ideas most people wouldn't consider discuss in the 'real' world. Sometimes the opinion of others can help us better understand our own ideas, beliefs, and faith.

If it's an intelligent debate, I'll respond. When the argument is about "YER SO DUMB!!!1111"- then I laugh it off. To an extent, I find it entertaining when people get so riled up.
