It's hard to believe that people got the "how many sides are there to a triangle?" question wrong...

Is this a set-up or something, because Americans arent THAT stupid...

This isn't stupid. This is BEYOND stupid. MY GOD! THERE'S THREE SIDES TO A TRIANGLE. AND THEY SAID COUNTRIES, NOT STATES.

Not every country is smart. There's bound to be stupid people and people BEYOND stupid.

not so much- there's stupid people all over the world! but this made me think of three things:

sometimes when you're put on the spot you're mind blanks (please, let that be the only reason that they missed the triangle question)
i'm not sure if being informed is a trait that Americans are particulary known for. apathy? who knows, but people seems to only focus on the things they're into or care about.
could it be a set up? we had a similar program when I was in high school and you'd get some of the dumbest answers. you'd be like, "are you seriously an AP student and don't even know ____?!!!" you want to hope that they were trying to be funny but sometimes you just don't know

Is it bad that i'm not even shocked or embarrassed? a handful of people are by NO MEANS an accurate representation of the rest of us- and surely you're smart enough to recognize that.

oh wow. that was pathetic. it was sooo funny though. i can't believe that one girl never heard of sri lanka.
but at least not all americans are like that. cause i knew like the answer to almost everyone of those questions and i am 14 for gosh sakes.

oh and were people saying that Australia was Korea or something or was i just looking at the wrong spot???
