Hey!
So my school is planning to drop A.P. U.S. and they've asked me to list some classes I want to take.
So really my options (or the ones that I've narrowed it down to) are between a required health class that I have to take sometime within the next 3 years, and Honors Chemistry (not AP, I need to be a junior to take that)
So which one should I take? I'm leaning towards Honors Chem because Chem is kind of a weak point, and in introduction chemistry I did well, but felt as if I studied more than I did for any of the other classes I had to get the grade I did. And some of the test scores I got were kind of on the low end, and because I'm planning to take AP Chem as a junior and I think that would be a good springboard to make AP chem a little easier along with helping me understand chem as a whole more.
The other class.... I really don't want to take a health class XD... but my reasonng for that is, it is required, and so should I just get it over with as a sophomore or make my junior/senior year a little less interesting albeit easier?
Oh if this matters this is what I'm planning for my schedule
Sophomore:
Honors Algebra 2
Honors Bio
Honors ALP (Combo of English and Social Studies)
Orchestra
Spanish
Honors Chem/Health Class
Junior:
Honors Pre-Calc
AP Chem
Honors ALP
Orchestra
Spanish
Health Class (if I don't take it some other year)/International Relations
Senior
AP Calc
AP Physics
Honors ALP
Spanish
Orchestra
Health Class (obviously if I dont' take it two previous years)/International Relations (if I don't take it as a junior)
Lol... by dropping AP US our school has like 5 AP classes now... Chem, Physics, Calc AB, Stats, English..... our school really sucks =/ XD

Don't you have to take some kind of history every year? Cus I thought most hs require that students take US History, Econ/Gov't.
Colleges want English, Math, History, Science, & a Language every year..
But I guess you're okay cus you're talking ALP?
I've actually never hurd of that.. but you said it's a combo of English & SS.

Yeah this ALP class fufills those requirements as an "honors" class... It's just a class that gives out like 5 credits for us instead of a regular 3 per year.

You could take health at summer school?
A lot of people at my sister's school do that so that they can take more classes during the year.
If that's not an option I'd say take health early and get it over with x___x
But I'm not really sure.

Lol... well I'm really busy during the summer XD... I would have absolutely no time... And I don't think health is one of the classes offered anyways...
