Have you ever go to a shopping center and someone just leaves the cart next to you when there's a Cart Return just right next to them or behind them?

I pulled up into a parking space at Walmart today and this person decides to leave his cart next to my car while I was getting out. I told him there's a Cart Return right behind him. He told me, "why don't you return it?". I stared at him back and then he starts to stalking me with his Suburban. What is wrong with people in this town? I mean when I first got my license and drove to Walmart by myself, people were staring at me and saying "OMG there's asians here" (I live in a small Texas town)

Shesh the Cart Return area is only 5 feet away. It's common courtesy just to return it and to prevent Carts rolling around denting up cars. Lazy.

yea i know what you mean! it's annoying when people do that.
i ALWAYS return the cart because it's common courtesy.
plus i hate it when you try to park in a spot, but there's a cart there.

Yea i have to do that sometimes too in order to park my car. I also move the carts that I move back to the return area even if it's not mine. =/ Some people here have the mindset that it's the shopping cart pushers job to move them since they are being paid to gather them. It's more work for them to gather them when they could just go to the return area and grab them (my friend works at the HEB is a cart pusher)

It just makes me mad because my car HAS been damaged with a shopping cart.

One of the cart pushers at Fry's was WAITING by my car to tell me that "some idiot hit your car with a cart, but sorry i didn't see who it was."

Well that girl is a complete idiot, because how would she know that that little scratch got there from a cart if she didn't do it herself. I'm so complaining to her employer and making her pay for it.

I actually saw a lady push the shopping cart into away from her car when she was done hitting another car!
I hate it when that happens.
I almost got my car hit by one of those!
Good thing it missed my car by a hair.
Ugh! I hate people who do that. Makes me mad.

I hate ppl who just leave it near parking spaces or w/e. I always run back with the cart to the cart return thing. That is, unless I cant find it and then I end up hating myself.

people are so lazy these days! i was at safeway & i so SOOO many carts just left in random spaces of the parking lot. i mean THE CART RETURN IS RIGHT THERE, it won't kill ya to put it back!

Most of the time i return it to the cart return. I once just left a car in the lot. that was a mistake. it rolled into someones car.

^like at aldi's where you need to deposit a quarter to get a shopping cart
and you get your quarter back you need to return it to the corral...

usually i return the carts, but sometimes it's really hard to navigate to the cart return.. ;<

People just don't have common courtesy like they used to. Especially in California.
