HELP! i bought a car that has cheap suspension installed. It had the spring and using stock (orginal) struct --the stick that is inside the spring---. ANyways its coil over and i want to adjust to make it higher. I see the metal thing which u turn to adjust but i dont know which direction to turn to make it higher? left or right? btw i dont have the hook wrench to adjust it, where can i get?

turn it left. you don't need a hook wrench. i used a hammer and a solid metal bar. there are 2 plates(?) you have to knock the top towards the left and the bottom towards the right in order to adjust them. rotate the top one left, when you think it's high enough, rotate the bottom left until it meets the top one. tighten it by moving the bottom left and the top right. drop it down, if it isn't high enough, do it again.
stock shocks on coilovers? you may end up on dead shocks pretty soon.

It probably already rides like complete mini cooper since you're riding on those cheap slip on coilovers. Here's some advice, change your whole assembly for a simple aftermarket shock and spring combo. Cheap, easy and gets everything done at once. Get a camber kit while you're at it.
Spray down the threaded part of the metal with some PB blaster or WD-40 so you can easily turn them. You should be able to pick up a real adjusting wrench on websites like PasswordJDM and eBay and stuff. Read up on real articles on suspension and please, PLEASE next time search somewhere else before wasting bandwidth with your useless questions.

Sell that crap to someone and buy some KYB AGX Struts and some decent springs if you want a decent suspension setup.
That will feel worse than stock suspension and IS worse!!
Brand name parts have a higher cost for a reason
