im thinking..should i just stay in korea?? or come back to the states??...
and when i go..should i go to an international school?? or try and go to a korean private school? ^^;;
its not for SURE yet that were moving..but my parents have decided on it. and its just a matter of having enough money for it. since we have to leave all of our stuff behind and start over when we go there.
oh yea! and after like..the first 2 basic years of college..im thinking of going to europe for art or culinary...does that sound good?? or...should i jus to come back to the states??
the thing about me is that..ive been trying to get my parents to let me do foreign exchange student, but when i mentioned it to them, the told me about moving to korea. so i was like..!!! :] OK! and ive been LONGING for a new surrounding..becuase i was born and have been in TEXAS..ALL OF MY LIFE.. -___-;; and yall may not know..but texas is pretty bland if you dont have a car..cus i live in a rather quiet neighborhood..and everything is just so far from each other...and you cant do much if you dont have a car..SOOO :] im really leaning towards staying in korea+europe
is that a good idea?? do you think the education would be good???

i personally think it'd be better to graduate with ur friends, go to the college of ur choice (in the states), and then go on an exchange program to korea for a year? because you could always move there if you like it and if not, come back. it'd be a hassle to move there, not like it and move all the way back.
the thing is.. i wanted to just do a year or so as an exchange student. but my whole FAMILY is moving. along with me. but my parents might move back after i finish school..when we all go to college. and i need to decide..whether to stay there or come back..i still have 2.5 years to think about it.. :]
and you have to take the SATS in korea too..or something like that. either that or the korean version. but im not THATTTT good at korean. so i think it would be difficult. and i think id be able to use the scores from that for schools in the states too. im not so sure yet..i have to talk to someone about it first..
and of course i would love you graduate with my friends..but i dont think that would be possible.

A degree from Korea is simply useless in America.
Unless you want to live in Korea (teaching English) and making 20k/year, I wouldn't advise it..
I had this obsession in which I wanted to study in Japan/Korea for undergrad.
Thankfully, I came to my senses when all these people were like, "ARE YOU CRAAAAAZY?!?!?!?"
EDIT: OOPS
I THOUGHT YOU MEANT FOR COLLEGE

Well, I think you'll probably improve quite a bit if you're going to a Korean high school. But you would probably still be at a considerable disadvantage compared to kids who had been in Korean school their whole lives.

Just a quick story, my dad went to Seoul U and was I think 2nd in his class. He tried to come to grad school in U.S. and the top school that admitted him was UCLA. (Though he did transfer to a much better school a year later...but not the point
Just do what feels right. Consider your family's financial abilities, though. If they can't afford to send you back to the U.S. for college, and you can't get financial aid, stay in Korea. Otherwise, try to come to the U.S. I have too many cousins that went to good Korean colleges and then screwed their grades up by going clubbing every day. (We all know that the Korean club scene is pretty cool

11+ YEARS AND STILL GOING STRONG
