Okay, I haven't been up on the latest k-pop for about two years, so when I started checking things out again, I discovered that there is a new BabyVOX. That excites me to no end, but while I was on their wikipedia page, I saw that they debuted around the same time as some other girl groups: Wonder Girls and Cats. Anybody know anything about these groups? Which is good? Are any of them worthwhile? Or am I missing another new group entirely that I should check out? I was a big fan of the original BabyVOX, so I'm trying to find another group like them that measures up...

The 3 groups you mentioned debuted around the same time. But not long after another group named KARA debuted. My favorite groups from these are Wonder Girls and KARA. I think they are also more popular in korea then the other 2 groups? The newest girl group that debuted recently (which you probabably heard of?) is So Nyuh Si Dae.

Baby Vox Re.V is okay but nothing compared to the original. Wonder Girls are currently most popular. So I definatly recommend them, and also Kara (2nd Fin.K.L.) SNSD is an amateur group (no offense to fans) and Cats (The Reds 2) are kinda okay but I don't see a lot of stage performances from them. Hope that helped

They sing live well for just debuting, and they're not even 14 days old yet ..
And if you see Hyo Yeon dancing before she debuted, it's AMAZING .
Sometimes, I think Wonder Girls is overrated , even though I love them .
Some of them are too quiet when they sing, and some can't really sing O____O Kinda sad how Hyeon Ah left already though : (
Anyways, the two bands who are making it big right now to me are So Nyeo Shi Dae and KARA .

how is snsd amateur?? yeah, i have the same question for the commenter above me. If they are, how is wonder girls more experienced?? it's not like they debuted years and ages ago. But i guess you have ur own opinion, so i'll end here.

for topic starter, this year had been bombarded with new groups. Newbies debut almost every month but they all have a little something different to offer. Wonder girls are more into hip-hop(?) americanized style, since they're from JYP. If u know Rain, their style is similiar to him. Kara, i guess is more tomboy-ish (?) at least for their debut songs, but they also have cute pop songs, so check them out. The most recently debut girl group is Snsd, they're from the infamous SM. They just debut so they havent establish a style yet, but their debut song is a pop song with powerful dances. So u can say they are into SM new genre, SMP.

So Nyuh Shi Dae just barely debuted and they're #12 out of #100 artisits on M.Net's most recent polls.
Whoa, they sure are amateur aren't they(: .

Anyway, I find Baby Vox Re.V VERY talented, but they just came out with the wrong image. I'm sure if you stick with them, they'll only get better if they come out with a new song/ image. Wonder Girls are very talented as well, but mostly in dancing from my opinion. I don't know which but 2 of the members have really good vocals. I don't know much about Cats =_=.

But I recommend KARA most. They really stick out from the other girl groups out right now. They don't go for a sexy image, and they're very flexible when it comes to their music. They have awesome vocals, and great songs.

Of all the groups that have debuted this year I'd say Wonder Girls and KARA are the ones that have talent and stand out the most.
