i apologize for not making my post anymore clear than it was. to the question, yes, n/a supras are slow. for the simple minded fools who cant comprehend why i went into detail about people making decisions to choose a hard route to tune a heavy piece of machinery that doesnt pull the torque like it's turbo-charged counterpart. i was merely trying to explain to him why his n/a is slower than a regular supra tt. (key words in the first sentence: p/w ratio was the answer) never did he or i say he IS going to build his n/a supra.
thinking & reading > you
umm if you can read, he said he is getting a turbo vehicle. He never said anything about building his na supra.
if you really want to save some money:
1.) get an engine, rebuild, install and sell the old engine.
-or-
2.) do what boost suggested
stock turbo'd 2jz blocks are stronger than the rb26, but that's only if you can do without your supra.
BTW, just a question about my current car.
Are N/A Supras to feel kinda slow? I mean its probably because supras are damn heavy, or maybe because i have hard suspension w/e, but it feels kinda slow inside.. I guess i can't expect much from a na soop.
