A "Big-Group" wave spurs new 13-guy group and female Super Junior! [2007-08-06]

Another "Big-Group" trend is washing over the music industry, with the advent of 10-plus-member groups making news nowadays. The situation is the same as it was 2 years ago, when Super Junior and i-13 debuted. A 13-guy group signed by Park Jin-young's agency is set to debut soon and SM is positioned to debut a female Super Junior! On the heels of the original Super Junior's success, this new trend in super-sized groups is sure to have an effect on an industry that champions multi-entertainers.

Lee Hyo-lee and Rain voted as the “Top Hair Stylists!" [2007-08-06]

Lee Hyo-lee and Rain have been selected as the female and male stars with the best hair savvy and style. The results came from a survey distributed to the 3,780 stylist members of a classifieds website for the hair-slash-beauty industry. The survey asked "Which stars have the best hair sense, according to stylists?" Candidates included 46 top male stars and 46 top female stars. Lee Hyo-lee was followed by BoA and then Kim Tae-hee. Rain was followed by Lee Joon-ki and Kwon Sang-woo.

The hottest voices to duke it out this summer [2007-08-06]

Amid the already hot competition between artists of various genres, three male artists are poised to make a comeback this summer and heat things up even more! The group Wanted, with their delicate voices, returns after 3 years. Fly to the Sky is back with their first self-composed song. And the ever-soulful Whee Sung will return to the scene in August as well. Nowadays, the music industry is noisy with buzz about what some consider to be military-service absurdities. Reports of Psy's re-enlistment have created a stir. Now, the Office of Military Manpower Administration has ordered singer-slash-actor Kang Hyun-soo and former Sechskies member Lee Jae-jin to also re-enlist. Lee and Psy are to do so August 6 while Kang is to enlist late August. While the former two are listed for active service, Kang is set to perform public services. But both Lee and Kang are outraged by the command and chances are high the stars will file lawsuits.
