Yeah. Scared of not making it, bla bla...mainly coz I'm a moody person. I don't draw when I don't want to, but in my future career[and my college course], I have to inspire myself. Or force inspiration. Yeah.

Criticism does not equal bashing.

My goal was always to be able to graduate with a decent class degree but what about after? i have no idea. Never planned for anything after, i always thought i was hard working in my studies but now i see all this competition i just feel totally out of my depth and i basically crapping myself about what i'm suppose to do after a graduate (it's my final year O.o). Always loved the idea being able to travel etc after i graduate but realistically i have no idea what i would like to work as in the next 40 years.
But i guess if worst comes to the worst i can always work in KH

right?
like.... me, i dont have any fears of not finishing college.
my mind is set to finishing.
of course there will be obstacles, but... im more determined than that.
i have no fear of finding a good job.
i have no fear of pursuing my happiness in life.
i deserve that much.
you are scared because you understand failure is bad,
now you have to understand that failure can only happen if you dont try your best.
even then, your best is enough if it is sincere.
im almost done with college.
of course i think of the future, but i am to only think of happy things.
the bad happens sometimes, but the good will overcome,
that's only if i let the good overcome. get it?
you'll be fine.
just keep your head straight, and look both ways, good and bad.
good luck.

I'm a senior in high school and I'm already nervous about getting into grad school .__.
And then after that I'm worried about not getting hired
And not being able to pay off debts
And all that type of stuff
But I guess the best thing to do is focus on what you're doing now
And make sure that you put a lot of effort into what you can do
Instead of worrying a lot about what might or might not happen..

What is your definition for failure in life?
I'd say get internships--your chances of getting a good and secure job go up. If you diversify yourself more your chances go up significantly as well. Earning less than you expect is common. Don't get caught up with just doing your major; hobbies can turn into a second job easily. Most undergraduates end up making roughly the same which is ~50-60,000 a year. Graduate it goes up from there depending on Masters and Doctorates.
My friend got his Masters in Electrical Engineering. However, he does work for Intel but also he made his own company to do wedding photographs.
Life works on an exponential graph rather than a linear graph. The farther you think down the road the more error/uncertainty there will be.

50,000 to 60,000/year income? Where do you live, AngeloDS? Here, it's lower.. at about 35k-50k, fresh out of university. Of course, you'll probably be supporting only yourself, so 35k-50k isn't bad at all.
Well, I just look at my cousin. 30-something, and he's just found a secure job. He's been job-jumping and going back to grad school and stuff all this time. He seems pretty content though, so I guess you just gotta take life one step at a time, eh?

I'll get worried about it when the time comes, but right now isn't the time for me. For all I know, I could have a job before I finish school and etc.

I know soo many people who have degrees and such in like Chemical Engineering and their job is like TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what their degree is..
Basically, it's whatever makes you the money at that particular time is the job you'll take .. if you are in luck and get the job of your dream, then MAN, you're lucky!!
Anyways, I dont' mind if i get an awesome degree and take an alright job.. i'll just keep searching for that perfect job..
