I know... i start school early that's because i got out early too. But anywhoo...
How do you think your classes will be like hmm? I just started school on the 15th... =.=;;
I'm currently thinking about changing my US History to AP US History just to challenge myself and because... the people in the regular one are stupid and idiots and immature. And it's way too easy for me. So do you think it's like a good idea i'm doing this?
Want to give me some advice on Junior year too?
Geez... All I know is that... After Sophomore Year it's like you're nearly on your own in life o__o Everything really is hitting down on YOU. O_O And now since school has started I've been like DEAD tired! I was so tired yesterday (First Day of School Back) that i went to sleep at 9PM o__o So early so me!

Well, I start school in two weeks.
Well, as for your question, you should ask the teacher about it and how he/she will teach APUSH. Since for our school, i am required to take USH b4 APUSH, but i don't think it will be a big deal whether or not you are going to try to do it without us hstory. i'd make sure and check up with them, but imo, not a big deal.
And my biggest advice is to make this year your best. Do whatever you can and do what you truly like. !

Just from the beginning challenge yourself a bit & if you can't handle it, I'm pretty sure your counselors will allow you to go back down to regular. I actually thought AP USH was extremely easy. Maybe it was because of my teacher (he made it really interesting & we watched a lot of movies too). & ended up getting A's both semester & a 4 on the actual AP test.
& my advice to you: don't slack off.. get your work done when you can & just keep your GPA up

I say go for APUSH. It's not that hard if you're willing to work/have a good teacher and it definitely looks a LOT better than regular USH.
Hm, advice for junior year: DON"T SLACK OFF/Procrasinate. Junior year grades / teachers are going to be vital for your college application process, and that's what colleges mainly look at especially if you want to apply early to any particular school.
But also, take your junior year to have fun because it's looking like senior year (at least the first half) is going to be brutal so have fun while you can!

So i hope that i get it just in time o__o hopefully at least! I'm really wishing for the best that I get this APUSH and that all of my other classes stay the same and don't change AT ALL! o__o
But I'll have to wait until next week to see if I got the class or not o__o
And yeahs... if I don't like APUSH I can't change and yeah... I'm really confident about it too. History comes really easy to me and I'm totally willing to do all the work that I can.

It is definitley a good idea to go for AP US History. Colleges love to see AP on your transcript 'cause it shows that you're challenging yourself.
And for advice? Haha, I don't really have a good one, but umm...try and relax a little bit and don't get too stressed. And if you do find yourself getting stressed, do some square breathing.

I start in 2 weeks... as;kfja;skdjf I'm so worried cuz many ppl told me junior year is far by the hardest year ever. I'm already being dominated by SAT prep school
I think it's a really good idea to switch to APUSH~

As for APUSH, go for it. Honestly, I think junior year altogether it a challenge, depending on what you're doing. So, just work hard. My goal is to not slack off. I have to work extra hard since APUSH where I live seems VERY challenging. Anyway, good luck to you. ^^
