So...there are many things I've done in my childhood that really hurt my mother..and to this day ( I'm an only child) she still talks about the things I did as reasons why she feels I bring her shame.
I really want to make her birthday special..but I'm a college student and I have no money..and no way to get home on her birthday...but anyway...I needs help in figuring out what to get her.
any ideas?

Bake her a cake? Buy make-up stuff? Spend time with her? Do something you both love to do?

wow..since you can't get home on her B-day then maybe you should order cake and tell them to deliver it to your mom...your buy her something meaningful or what she likes then deliver it...

This is what I did for my dad last year but you can do it for your mom too.
Make some sort of Journal.
I started this gift right after his previous birthday but you can start now.
Write down one good thing you have done with your mom everyday and make it into some sort of pretty book.
