I've had a Samsung SGH-D807 for a while but haven't bought a cell phone charm for it.
Today my sister found a cute Pucca charm and got it for me happy.gif
Anyways, they sell charms for the phone but I just can't find a place to attach it....

Help me?

some cell phones don't have a place to attach it. Maybe if you know someone that has the same cell phone as you, you could ask them? biggrin.gif
sorry if I didn't help.

you're out of luck, most Samsungs don't have a place for a strap. You could do what I've done, kind of gettho though, but i don't really care about my d900 anymore. I just screwed in a circular ended screw and then i can attach a strap to it. Be aware where you screw it into at though. You don't want to damage any important parts of the phone.

if this helps

^How did you do that? mellow.gif Teach me?

Chances are, there isn't a hole for charms.
Most Samsung phones don't have it.

I just heated a end of needle/tack and poked it into the plastic of the phone to make a little indent, just enough so i can place in the screw and screw it in so it sits snug. I took this screw thingy from a another charm/key chain I wasn't using. Perhaps you can find a piece like this from something you have. I guess, to some, it might look a bit weird since it sticks out. Do at your own risk, find a nice spot to screw it in at, make sure you don't hit anything venerable to the function of the phone. For the d900, I put it on the usb/charger side near the bottom, on the lump thingy. I figure there is nothing there. So it works for me. D807 it seems somewhere on the bottom middle would be a nice spot, but don't take my word for it. If I figure a way to make a way to mount a strap more stealth I'll post it up.

lol nice way to put it hahaha, but thats one of the only few ways I can think of to put a strap (that I know of) on a a samsung phone. Another way I had it was tie the strap to the expandable memory or usb/power cover (of course if the string was thin enough and the charm was lite, it works decent), but I lost my Domo-kun strap that way. mellow.gif

but if you screw it in where I put it it on my d900 you should be good and wont damage anything. It's At your own risk of course, but so far so good for me. I've looked on how people had took their d807 apart and what I had replied, middle right bottom, is the best from what i can tell, that a screw can go in at without hitting anything important. Although, again, do at your own risk because i don't own that phone and cant confirm that it'll be a good spot.

Thank you everyone for your help! happy.gif

Wow..rms13.. that was wicked! I don't have the skills to do that, nevertheless, I would still be afraid because if I screw up my phone to wear it's disfunctional, my dad would kill me. Lol

I was so desperate that I took the end of my mobile charm (the part you have to attach), and I found these two little silver bars behind my phone (when it slides up), so I tried to cram it under one of them - which didn't work since the it was a very tight spot, but then I took a tac and pulled it out from under. Hahaha, like I said I was desperate - but to believe, it actually worked! biggrin.gif laugh.gif

But you can see the bars haha

I love my new cell phone charm - it even lights up at incoming calls/messages/new voicemail/and missed calls ^^;

Thank you everyone for your help!
