So, the other day, my cell phone submerged into the toilet and I thought it had died so I left it laying out while I went out. When I came home, I found my cell phone to be alive, but it was in "car kit" mode. I couldn't set my ringer to Vibrate, Silent, or No Sound. When I make a call, I can't hear anything. Then, I decided to research it online to see what "car kit" meant, and I found out it was a way for LG to know if you've had water damages to your phone. Even if I have warranty on this phone, they reserve the rights to not honor it since water damages have occurred So, I tried a couple of solutions like going to setting and pressing 0 and all that junk, rubbing the charging area with foil, letting the phone dry out some more, and clean it with rubbing alcohol.
The question is, is there any other way to get rid of this "car kit" mode? Thanks to those who can help.
