Do anyone buy their book from a local used bookstore or does everyone buy from the internet?

Half.com
Amazon Marketplace
Abebooks.com

If the book is new and was released the year(or after) I'm taking the class, then sometimes I get the new one instead of used at my local bookstore because there isn't a price difference between them and online. I bought 2 books that came out earlier this year. Both cost the same as online and in store, so I'll probably be able to make my money back after the class! Hoping so anyways...

I bought mine at the school bookstore because I only needed two books this semester (one course I'm taking doesn't need a textbook at all..I don't know how that's going to work. Maybe he has a website or something?). And I was able to get both of mine in used versions.

fetchbook.info

Best place; it's really a database that searches a bunch of sites and provides you with the lowest price, as well as the site ratings and things. Plus, there are a lot of search options.

www.bigwords.com for comparisons
and Facebook marketplace, which is useful since you can see people from your school selling books you need, it might be cheaper/more convenient at times
