Kim Gun Mo – Swallow
Kim Gun Mo is a veteran singer of K-pop, he debuted at 25 (in 1993) and this March he released his 11th album at 39! In the 90s, all of Kim’s albums have the millions sales (Especially one had been sold 14,000,000 copies!). ‘Swallow’ is included in his 8th album which was released in 2003 and sold nearly 530000 copies just in that year. To tell about ‘Swallow’, just 2 words: Funky and Catchy! Why don’t you play it right now?
Daylight – Secret
Daylight is not very unknown, we got attention of her voice since the hit ‘Black Glasses’ (With Eru) last year. Recently she made a comeback after 3 years hiatus by a single ‘After a Haircut’ included 2 ballad tracks. It’s interesting to know that the main genre of her debut album was Rock. So if you’re into Daylight’s soft voice, don’t miss her ‘Secret’ from Volume 1!

Sti – Discovery
Even the 1st digital single does not get much recognizing, but a new artist coming out with a All-in-English lyrics deserves the appreciating from the listeners. The music is good and it is influenced some US and UK’s tune, and the lyrics are about a new name wants to proove its unique style. I believe that if you arent a fan of Hip-hop/R&B, you’ll have to press the ‘Repeat’ button!
ILY – Had loved
Despite the fact that R&B is the No.1 choice of big stars, ILY is still confident to release a single with R&B title track made-in-Korea! But since this genre started, it surely gave us more feelings than traditional Ballads (Especially for foreigners). Hope ILY will release a album to promote herself more and more.
KD – I wont change
To continue with R&B tracks, we meet 2 boy-group KD. Their first single having various genres such as Disco, R&B, Hip-hop, Pop/Ballad was produced by Jin Jung Han. The lyrics of ‘I Wont Change’ are about the promise of a boy will not never change the love for his girl, although they cant be together forever.
Gn – My Love
Gn is a 2-member group with one female & one male vocals. They have released 2 singles. ‘My love’ featured in their 2nd Single as the title track, I believe after you listen to this song, you’ll fell sorry for them as not gaining any fame even this ballad is great. Also, traditional ballad songs are more suitable when Autumn is coming nearly.
Urban Note – Friday Night
‘Friday Night’ of Urban Note is a cute Teen-pop song, but it doesn’t stop, it will make you stand up and do some dance moves. Yeah, it’s Friday night! Urban Note really shows us though Teen-pop is not as favorite as before they used to be, it’s still worth listening for everyone.
IS – Millions of Rose
3 cute girls of IS started their career as a featured track in ‘Palace S’ OST. In their 1st album ‘Step One’ which was released in near past, they keeps their unique style with the mixture of modern music and traditional Chinese – Korean music. If you’re familiar with the Russian original ‘Millions of Rose’, the arrangement, performance of IS surely make you feel amazing and unforgettable.
Hyun Bin – Discord to Separate
Hyun Bin is very popular among the Korean Movie and Drama Fans. But his rapping skill was revealed sooner than the role in hit-drama ‘My name is Kim Sam Soon’, and ‘Discord to Separate’ with just 1 minute length is enough for us to discover his hidden ability.
Zion – Time Breaker
To end our playlist, I picked up a Power Pop track of Zion ‘Time Breaker’. This song easily reminds us the old hits of Brits, which were always hot and enthusiastic. Do have a happy ‘Back 2 Skul’ days! See you in the next Playlist!
