Can anybody tell me like.. if you have to be APPROVED or be sent a letter by govt/fasfa/whatever to be able to apply for work study?
Because I want to do it during school but I'm not sure if I'll be automatically approved for it and can apply for it..

ya you have to be approved. if your FAFSA was good then you'd get it offered to you in your financial aid packet. I don't know if you can apply for it though.

I think most schools only refer to the FAFSA when determining what they'll offer you in the financial aid package (including work study).
You should ask your financial aid office if they will be able to include you in workstudy

yea, my finaid originally didnt include work study but i went to my fin aid counselor to see if i could receive any more money and he added work study onto my fin aid.
