kitanablade3: that kitty looks nervous and guilty, but uber adorable. Love the expression.

LOL JJM that looks so cute! I wanted to get one for my dog too just for the fun of it but then it would be real weird and my bf isn't willing to cough out the money. But its a fun thought.

She loves the stroller. She sleeps in it every night since we got it. The great thing about my bf, he indulges the both of us. He's even agreed to help me throw her a bday party. laugh.gif

Birdie is always up to something LOL Crazy kitty tongue.gif She was actally watching my brother's dogs outside. She may be a little guilty, that's actually a TV in my bro's computer room she's not supposed to be behind LOL Rebellion!
Here's the other one she's looking at the dogs. She's a big cat, but she hides it well LOL Wish the other two would come out when we're there, such...pun partly intended...scaredy cats.

kitanablade3: She's fabulous. Is she a calico tabby? Or 1/3 tortie too? I love her eyes in that last photo. She looks like she's wearing eyeliner. It's the "don't fvck with me" look. laugh.gif

My kitty is like a dog. When people come to our place, she's at the door greeting everyone. She's an attention rainbow. She loves people; very social. Unlike your kitty, mine's tiny. She's only 8.1 lbs. for an adult cat, but don't let the size fool you. She's a spitfire. She made a 5 yr. old 18 lbs. male we tried to adopt into her b!tch. We had to return him back to the shelter.

Just like a dog, she sits on command for food.

Very nice, now your living room will seat 7+ and I still don't have a coffee table. (Hey, but I've got a good bar top, that's all it matters right?)

Hehe, he's my snuggle bunny. I swear he's human sometimes, the way he cuddles up to you.

Hahaha, awww how'd you teach her to do that?! My brother's cats don't do anything but shed LOL She's got such pretty markings.

I think Birdie is just a calico tabby. I'd have to ask my brother, he got her from a shelter. He also has a Siamese (I think she's got a little mix tho), and a yellow tabby as well. Never knew my brother as a cat person, till he ended up with all of them.

It is entirely too early (for me at least) to be looking at food pictures...much less a nice looking burger & fries.. *stomach pang*

Pogichinoy: You have some fabulous flooring. I have a thing for floors. And the ottomans are killer too.

kitanablade3: We discovered she could sit on command by accident. After she adopted us (we met at a shelter too), I had some treats and my bf jokingly said, "See if she will sit like a dog." So I asked her to sit and she did. We tried it several more times and she did the same thing. hahaha We're lucky to have a cat with dog personality. I always say real men have cats. Good for your brother.

College friends at a wedding... need I say more?

Our friend Boner got married this past weekend.
Her now husband both met at our friend's graduation party and got married 3 years later

btw, I traded my 430ex with 580exII speedlite and it makes SUCH a difference! Amazing flash, I have to say.
These were shot with my 1D Mark II - 16-35L - 580exII
5D MarkII juliet II

is the difference really that much? i was planning to get the 430 exII ASAP. i'm not planning to do studio shoots so having a slave flash doesn't matter to me that much. and is the power difference that needed for casual events?

well I used my 430ex at another friend's wedding last month and it was still a good flash.
The only reason I traded it for a 580exII was because I got a great deal on a used one.

Two things I noticed: the flash is POWERFUL; you can bounce the flash from almost anywhere and more importantly, the refresh rate is amazingly fast. I'm not exactly sure, but I think the refresh rate is less than or right around 1 second on ETTL.
Comparing the two, I had a lot more keepers using the 580exII than my 430ex, but in it's defense, I was not as well versed in flash photography the first time around, than when I used the 580exII this past weekend.

I'm actually a hobbyist too, and I should really stop spending more on equipment.

It's difficult for me to take couples pictures because my girl always makes faces. I've found that if I keep taking photos, she'll eventually think I'm done and stop making faces:

It took me 6 shots.

I have a love for floors too. I waited 2 months to get these floors approved. biggrin.gif Was well worth the wait.
