She loves the stroller. She sleeps in it every night since we got it. The great thing about my bf, he indulges the both of us. He's even agreed to help me throw her a bday party.

Here's the other one she's looking at the dogs. She's a big cat, but she hides it well LOL Wish the other two would come out when we're there, such...pun partly intended...scaredy cats.

My kitty is like a dog. When people come to our place, she's at the door greeting everyone. She's an attention rainbow. She loves people; very social. Unlike your kitty, mine's tiny. She's only 8.1 lbs. for an adult cat, but don't let the size fool you. She's a spitfire. She made a 5 yr. old 18 lbs. male we tried to adopt into her b!tch. We had to return him back to the shelter.
Just like a dog, she sits on command for food.

That photographer squat is excellent.

Very nice, now your living room will seat 7+ and I still don't have a coffee table. (Hey, but I've got a good bar top, that's all it matters right?)

We shall go coffee table shopping together.
Bar top? That is more than enough.

I think Birdie is just a calico tabby. I'd have to ask my brother, he got her from a shelter. He also has a Siamese (I think she's got a little mix tho), and a yellow tabby as well. Never knew my brother as a cat person, till he ended up with all of them.

kitanablade3: We discovered she could sit on command by accident. After she adopted us (we met at a shelter too), I had some treats and my bf jokingly said, "See if she will sit like a dog." So I asked her to sit and she did. We tried it several more times and she did the same thing. hahaha We're lucky to have a cat with dog personality. I always say real men have cats. Good for your brother.

Our friend Boner got married this past weekend.
Her now husband both met at our friend's graduation party and got married 3 years later
btw, I traded my 430ex with 580exII speedlite and it makes SUCH a difference! Amazing flash, I have to say.
These were shot with my 1D Mark II - 16-35L - 580exII
EF 35 ƒ1.4L | EF 135 ƒ2.0L | EF 70-200 ƒ4.0L | 580EXII | YN460 | flick'd

is the difference really that much? i was planning to get the 430 exII ASAP. i'm not planning to do studio shoots so having a slave flash doesn't matter to me that much. and is the power difference that needed for casual events?

The only reason I traded it for a 580exII was because I got a great deal on a used one.
Two things I noticed: the flash is POWERFUL; you can bounce the flash from almost anywhere and more importantly, the refresh rate is amazingly fast. I'm not exactly sure, but I think the refresh rate is less than or right around 1 second on ETTL.
Comparing the two, I had a lot more keepers using the 580exII than my 430ex, but in it's defense, I was not as well versed in flash photography the first time around, than when I used the 580exII this past weekend.
I'm actually a hobbyist too, and I should really stop spending more on equipment.

I have a love for floors too. I waited 2 months to get these floors approved.
I have two. In case one breaks down, NBA Jam won't be halted!
