umm
I dont even look asian....most people cant tell what I am. They think Im like mixed asian.
My eyes set me apart because of my eyelids I guess?
I cant speak Laos...barely understand it.

x when i speak to my parents, its always got vietnamese and english words mixed into the same sentence =P
x my bf says that i dont know how to hold chopsticks properly

erm. i am not fluent in chinese. i cannot speak japanese, korean, vietnamese etc. etc.
LOL.

i am not a fan of asian pop WITH the exception of korean music.
however i dont consider fly to the sky and big bang and SOMETIMES shinhwa pop. HAHA.

and i dont dress asian-like. or "fob" LOL

I have some things to say about yours (I'm not bashing... just things I noticed):

My best friends are white and I don't have a preference with hanging out with Asians more in general. The Asians who prefer to be around Asians are usually those who actually came from Asia to America. They feel uncomfortable around people that don't share their culture. I'm Korean and not a single friend of mine in real life (except in Church because everyone there is Korean) is Korean. I was born in the US. See the difference?

I suck at math. Me too.

I wear white people clothes I guess... Although I don't know what the hell Asians are supposed to wear. Asians wear clothes too. We don't wear hanboks everyday like they used to a long time ago.

Anyway, I'm pretty much the same way, minus the Cantonese.

-the way I speak english/french... just the words I use (that's what people have been telling me)
-I dont have an accent
-The way I dress myself (I have occasionally something fobby, but I can make it seem not fobby at all)
-I don't like fobs (not all... but the very arrogant ones)
-I'm not a crazy fan of kpop, jpop, cpop, etc. I like it. But I don't really know the stars XD.

Easy. I'm not an asian girl who hangs out with the full on asian crew at school because there IS no asian crew, I'm the only chinese person in my school

I don't know, there are people who expect asians to hang out with asians right? lol

Hmm...I can't hold my chopsticks properly either...like I'm not bad at it, but there's an actual way of doing it...not holding it like a pencil that is.

Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?

i think it still happens...just that it's at a higher degree with fob asians.

i'm just saying that there's still a loose association between certain clothing brands/types and ethnicities. it's even harder for asians to be associated with brands like abercrombie or tommy hilfiger after the incidents that occurred involving racism against asians.
