A very small difference in him would be his hair, as two locks extend over his headband.

Even his face is now less round; it's more slender-looking.

So...220 has come and gone...I gotta say, it felt a lot sadder watchnig Naruto leaving the village in the anime than reading it in the manga, probably because of all the things the characters went through in the fillers.

Gaara was certainly top notch though; I gotta say, he's probably the only character that can be featured in a filler and rock the party.

Hey that's pretty cool

I started watching naruto about a week ago and finished episodes 1-130 or so in about 1 week (probably less).
I'm skipping the fillers entirely and am just waiting for the second season.

After watching the hundred episodes, my favorite characters are: Naruto, Kakashi, Gaara, Rock Lee, Iruka, Jiriaya, and Zabuza (though deceased). Why? Because they are the characters I most enjoy watching- almost never boring.

The anime is different than the manga, right?
So, why'd they (the people who made the anime) change it?
And why all the sudden they start trying to go back to the manga?
