Dattebayo isn't stopping because they're tired. Dattebayo is stopping out of consideration for VIZ media. It's very important to remember that fansubbing, for all intents and purpose, is always illegal, and I was surprised that VIZ media let it happen for as long as it did. I'm pretty sure that Dattebayo was also surprised and extremely grateful that VIZ media never pulled a cease and desist on them, and if you guys think about it, there's rarely a company out there who WOULDN'T do a cease and desist, and the fact that VIZ never did that earns them some serious respect points, at least from me. Dattebayo has recognized this, which is why, out of respect for VIZ, who has let them go on for so long, they are VOLUNTARILY ending the service for Naruto. VIZ still didn't force their hand with this decision, which is again impressive. If there had been anyone who was tired, it was definitely Interactii, although s/he was already tired like a really long time ago.

Fansubbing isnt illegal. uploading media which is licenced and have copyright on it is illegal, such as the naruro anime itself. But what if Dattebayo decided just to bring out the soft subs for naruto. That shouldnt be legally a problem right?

i mean seriously ive seen far more better fansubbing than what DB does but their speed is god tier. i never know any place that releases that fast. DB will sure be missed when they drop naruto.

If they were worried about the legal issues they would have dropped it ages ago. They said they dont' want to do it since Viz is only releasing eps ONE WEEK after airing and since they've given them so much slack over the years when they could have issued legal papers. No where will be as fast as DB i think. But most people can wait for 1 week. And VIZ are only asking for a small fee to watch them. Also it's not like DB are the only subbing group around so you can still get your subs elsewhere just have to wait. =/

I'll miss DB Naruto at least they still have Bleach ^^"

And here I thought it was the Beginning of Sasuke's Rampage arc. You know, the one really long arc that encompassed several battles and encounters.
Which, it technically is, I guess...I mean, it was already interesting as it was in the manga, not to mention it was the longest freakin arc ever in Naruto, so I don't see why filler people gotta be involved...

On the plus side, this is possibly the most gangster I've seen Naruto as of yet. Not the show, but the character, although the show can be gangster too. I look back on Naruto and I realize just how far he's come along in terms of planning and tactics. Not that he wasn't already like that before, but a lot of the things he did before weren't completely his "type," so he never got to exercise much of his potential until he started doing some things that were well suited to him. I won't say what they are, but those who read the manga, you know what I'm talking about.

in the anime they avoided shikamaru smoking completely.

when asuma dies, shikamaru starts smoking, and also had a smoke at asumas grave. In the manga, shikamaru mentions that he'll quit when he gets revenge.. something like that.

trying to make shikamaru look like a good role model for the kids that watch naruto i guess.

I was kinda disappointed that Naruto's hurricarana rasengan didn't incinerate Kakuzu's entire body. Sure his insides were all destroyed, but I was expecting his whole body to be ripped to shreds.

^ The writers behind the anime are now approaching fillers in a different way. Instead of the completely unproductive and pointless fillers that took a good chunk out of the episodes back then, the writers are now fully integrating the main plotline with the fillers attached. The three tailed beast, for example, really did appear in the manga, and judging by the commercials, this arc does indeed start in the same fashion as in the manga, where Sasuke stands over many bodies. The reason why they would call this an arc is because while it does incorporate elements from the main plot, such as the three tails and Sasuke, it creates this scenario where Naruto and the gang attempt to rescue the Three tails, something that never really happened in the manga. Also, there are at least two filler characters in this arc, making this arc...filler, kind of.

In other words, don't fret, because the storyline will nevertheless move along, even if it were in a filler arc.

*nod* the three tail does appear in the manga series, but there's never a storyline behind it. the anime decided to put a story to the actual three tails with the clash of naruto and co. vs akatsuki vs sasuke and co.
