So.
We've got this full bottle of honey just sitting in our fridge. I dunno what to do with it.

Ideas?

toast some french baguette in the oven drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Then once they're still hot, put gorgonzola cheese on them and put it back in the oven till the cheese melts. Right after you take it out, drizzle or drown the bread/cheese mixture in honey.

The saltiness from the cheese complements the sweet, floral scents of the honey. freaking good.

I eat honey
- on an english muffin. Toast it, spread some butter drizzle with honey. Its sooo good!
-On top of plain Cheerios. It puts Honey Nut to shame.
-Peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich. Tall glass of milk a must.
-Baklava. If youre fancy.

The first thing you should do is to get that jar of honey out of the fridge. You keep honey in your pantry not your fridge.

Honey is just about the only sweet thing I really care for (like it much better than ice cream or chocolate for instance)

All the suggestions above are really good (never tried the gorgonzolla cheese one but I do like honey and other cheese together)

I put it in my tea and drink it or even better I swallow one tea spoon before having breakfast in the morning. It has a slight very pleasant burn on your throat and a very healthy way to gain energy. But don't take more than a table spoon a day and tea spoon at one time - apart from having it as a marinade sauce that is- since it is very strong.

You can make a peanut butter banana honey sandwich!

I guess first, you slather peanut butter on both slices of bread. Then slice the banana and put it on top of it, then drizzle honey on it.

Or just put it on regular toast or something and eat it like that.

OR honey lemon water.
Take a slice of lemon, put it in a mug, put honey in the mug (and be generous haha), and then pour some hot water in the mug as well. Stir and enjoy!

exactly what I was gonna say. I heard it helps with scratchy throat or something but I'm not really sure.. Haha, sometimes I substitute it with oranges when I don't have any lemons left.. tongue.gif
