just got it from logitech yesterday for free from the mx1000 warranty replacement, so far it's nice, but the software blows on the mac

I've always wanted one, never got around to getting one though. I'm still stuck with my G5, it's a great mouse but definitely not comparable to a MX revolution. I would love to replace my G5 but there's nothing wrong with it and I don't really wanna waste my money. I could easily pick up an MX for about $60 CDN which is a pretty awesome deal for a mouse of that calibre.

well you could have taken a price match deal.

my MX, i told staples a store called infonec had it cheaper, and i got it for $65

Then there's a logitech rebate for $40 from staples

and that brings it down to $25 for me! =D

i have a VX revolution which is like the same one for laptops, i didnt like the mx it was way too big for me and i dont see how the side scroller is really needed or useful in my day to day expeditions lol.

Whoa!!!
I just bought this today at best buy and I'm using this right now
It is by far the most comfortable mouse I've ever used
Also the hyper scroll is awesome !!!!
I keep my head up, I don't even know what shoes I'm wearing.

I totally agree with you that the mac software for this mouse sucks.
But overall its a really comfortable mouse. laugh.gif
