cavaliers: 48-32 lakers: 44-37
that's only like 3 games apart. the only reason that the cavaliers are the 4th seed and the lakers are the 7th seed is because of their conferences. the east is going to have 3-4 teams that are going to have below .500 records. the west has no teams that are going to be below .500. the 5-8 seeds in the east are most likely going to be swept or it's gonna be over in 5 games. almost all of the teams in the west are legitimate playoff teams with the exception of the nuggets(if it weren't for the playoff format, they'd be the 7th seed right now).
also i think lebron does have a better supporting cast around him than kobe. lebron has zydrunas ilgauskas, eric snow, damon jones, and donyell marshall. i also would've said larry hughes but he's been injured for like half the season. kobe has lamar odom, sometimes smush parker, and sometimes(and only recently) kwame brown. so i don't know how you can tell me that kobe and lebron have the same supporting cast talent.
i mean lakers arent BAD, i would say there average, theyere gonna get like what 44 -46 wins? and 39-40 losses?..thas average, not bad not good
oh, i forgot about this part. since the cavaliers have only 48 wins(give or take 1 or 2 wins since the season isn't over), that's only going to be 2-4 games won more than the lakers. so wouldn't that make the cavaliers average?
doesnt matter who they play, suns or spurs, they will lose in the first round, even if nash and bell arent back
i keep forgetting to reply to parts of your post. you said if nash and bell aren't back, the suns will still win. did you see the game yesterday between them? the suns got killed. the suns are nothing without steve nash. i'm not even sure if they've ever won a game without him since he came to phoenix. i wouldn't be surprised if nash won the mvp award again this year. but anyways, you can't tell me they'll win a series against a decent playoff team like the lakers without nash. they'd be lucky to win one game against them.
