Fred Jones To Sign With Raptors

Mavericks Trade Darrell Armstrong to Pacers For Anthony Johnson

Spurs Sign Jackie Butler

Spurs Sign Francisco Elson

the raptors seem to be very busy this offseason. i look forward to seeing how they play once the season starts. i think they might actually make the playoffs, albeit being around the 7th or 8th seed.

i don't see why the pacers would trade anthony johnson. he did very well in these playoffs for them.

i guess the spurs have to make up for losing mohammad and nesterovic by signing butler and elson.

Being from toronto I like that so far Toronto's been trying to clean house. But I've been rather skeptical of Colangelo's risk of utilizing european talent, not to mention taking the bargnani kid at #1.

Knicks..I don't even know what is going on in that circus anymore. Not paying Jackie Butler's underrated contract and giving Eddie Curry and Jerome James at the price of our entire planet.

that fred jones pickup is huge. a huge gain for the raptors and huge loss for the pacers. the kids a baller.

and they traded away anthony johnson? i'm so confused, he was basically starting for them last year. i wonder what tricks larry bird has up his sleeve. i don't think....european guy, can start, and nobody in indy likes tinsley..so we'll have to see.

^i agree. toronto.. has been making some good moves smile.gif

no clue what larry bird is doing.. and honestly, i would prefer mavs to keep armstrong. he really helped them out in tight situations last year.

yeah, hopefully bargnani lives up to the number 1 pick hype and succeeds. i'd hate to see all of toronto's hard work go to waste with a bad pick.

well whatever he's planning, hopefully it all works out. i want to see the pacers win a championship. i'm still kinda heartbroken that reggie stayed there his whole career and never won a ring.

Bargnani proved he wasn't gonna be another Araujo flop during the Vegas Summer League, so the kid's got some game.

Salmons isn't going to the Raptors nor the Sixers. He doesn't want to join the Raptors and the Sixers don't wanna resign him. He'll be a free agent.

Fred Jones in Toronto... biggrin.gif

What the hell was Salmons thinking? Turned down 23million and now after sixers rescinded their offer, he's probably off to Europe. Thats because Toronto wasnt "the best fit" for him. Okay dude.

Fred Jones in Toronto...

Not much of an accomplishment being better than Araujo. Although I do like his Offensive game, people made him out to be more versatile than he is and I'm alittle concerned about his low-post game and D.

well those are the same concerns people had about dirk nowitzki and look how he turned out. i'm not saying that bargnani is gonna be as good as nowitzki but he should get better as he gains more experience.

well, his low post game will come with time and strength. he's skinny, if i remember correctly. and as for defense, well no european is known for defense. as long as he is serviceable, he'll do. its not like any of colangelo's teams played defense, anyways.

I haven't seen Nash's current hairstyle. It would be pretty awkward at first but we'll definitely get used to it someway or another.
