All you can provide is "hockey sucks, who watches hockey?" How about providing some real reasons instead of giving replies that only someone ignorant would make? Hockey wouldn't make a couple of pages in the sports section of the newspaper if it news, now would it? It wouldn't appear on the sports channels would it? Or be such an anticipated sports event at every Winter Olympics?

It's not just Canadians, even American hockey teams have thousands of people attending and watching the games. Then again sports fans in the Southern states do have problems accepting hockey as a major professional sports league. If people didn't care, the NHL would've died off a while ago. If you don't like hockey, then that's fine. There's no need to whine about why the NHL thread has more replies than the NBA thread or trashtalk the sport without any good reasons.

i think it was a good move for gs. they overpaid for fisher, and they finally got rid of his contract. as for utah, i know that jerry sloan likes to run two point guard sets, so i guess this fits for him

Yeah i thought it was ludicrous how D-fisher's value was jacked up after he made that 0.4 shot in the playoffs. The warriors promised 37million AND a starting role. And Fisher is what, 30? 31? Dont know too many people I would trust in that position , aside from probably Sam Cassell at that age.

They supposedly sent like Devin Brown and two other guards in return. I wonder how the young players will pan out.
