wow the lakers are on a slump now. its amazing how poor their defense is. i was excited when they were winning, but now im used to them losing to teams that are below .500.

whoa, TheSavageTorontoBoy, when did you become a mod?

Barely less than a week ago.

Let's stay on topic here anyway.

I don't like the 76ers but... they need to stop winning!

Or they can kiss Greg Oden goodbye.

the knicks need to stop winning too because i believe the bulls still have a first round pick of theirs and if they get the first pick, we might be able to get greg oden also

Gotta love how the NBA Draft Lottery Odds always have the most ridiculous results. It's pretty late for me to say this, but I definitely didn't expect the Raptors to get the 1st pick in the summer with their odds.

Btw, why do Bulls have a team rule that disallows its players to wear headbands during games? So ridiculous.

I say it's the headband that explains why Wallace isn't himself anymore, that was like his trademark with the afro and cornrows.

yeah, i agree that it's a pretty stupid rule also. i mean bulls tickets have ben wallace on them and he's wearing a headband. it was just some rule that john paxson made as soon as he became gm. supposedly, it helps establish order or something like that. i thought it was pretty stupid to pull out ben wallace during that game when he wore the headband. however, i thought it was equally as headstrong of ben wallace to wear it in the first place even though he knew it was against the rules.

The worst team isn't guaranteed the first pick. Last time a team did though was the Magic.

76ers have been playing better since he left them.

Yes of course, but the more ping pong balls, the better chances of course. I can't say it'd be best to just follow the draft system of other major sports leagues, where the worst team automatically gets the first pick because there's gonna be teams guaranteed to suck on purpose in order to get the first pick. Still, sometimes I feel a team deserves better (like the Atlanta Hawks)

flipdragn: I agree completely. I fail to see why headbands should be banned for any Bulls player, it's a game accessory that serves to absorb sweat. Might as well just ban the wristbands, elastic bands. Maybe socks too. sleep.gif

lol yeah, that's another thing i'm happy about. when a team loses a ballhog, other players get to shine, like andre iguodala. he's probably going to be an all-star sometime in the future but nobody would've known just how good he could be as long as iverson was there.

yeah they won seven in a row O.o

as for ny, id say they have a greater chance of making the postseason than getting a top 2 pick in the lottery IMO

I just have to say, after warriors went on a 7 game losing streak, I thought their season was done. Now that they FINALLY have their team at full strength and won 3 straight while everybody else is on a losing streak, I'm glad to see that they're more than back in the playoff race.

EDIT: I wanna add though, the team relies way too much on baron, and it's starting to make me mad to see how not aggressive the team is when he's out.

Yep, Iggy's been averaging 20 a game since AI left.

Oden is probably the piece to build around to win an NBA Championship.

like kzone said, at this point, the Sixers can kiss either one of those players goodbye. They need to stop winning games.

Durant from day one, will average 20 ppg. I hear a lot of T-Mac comparisons.

Oden may develop an offensive game but it will take time. His defense is a given though. Not quite sure why Oden is being compared to Tim Duncan.
