unless Howard gets more aggressive on offensive, gets the ball more, and utilizes his size along with more refined post moves, the tandom can't be considered a "1-2" punch. don't give the Magic that much credit though. it seemed more of a move of desperation, rather than one that was well thought out. think about it this way..any team with enough money can lure in a quality player like Lewis, you know?
well, think about it this way. it was better than staying pat with all that cap space, and rashard lewis was a better person to sign than anyone else.
next year, they might not have the cap room because they would probably want to extend guys like trevor ariza, jameer nelson, jj reddick, carlos arroyo and keyon dooling. even if they dont want to (and they wont) keep all of them, its going to cost a pretty penny to keep at least nelson around.
