*sigh* yeah. at least last season gave us bulls fans some hope. they got like 4 rookies last season and all of them were pretty good. but that meant no rookies this season but we should get like 2 or 3 picks this season because of the trade with eddy curry. i kinda think the bulls should've just kept eddy curry. if he dies or whatever, the only person he could have to blame would be himself.

yep, he can blame himself when he's dead. I'm sure a lot of people who died of some kind of disease all blamed themselves.

[6]Washington

i doubt that's gonna happen

Although I agree with you that it is improbable, I think its even more far-fetched to believe that Chicago is going to get a spot in front of Washington. Curry's trade has devastated the team. At least Washington's showing signs of life as of late. But I mean hey, props for the unbridled and optimistic passion for your team. Afterall, we're only about halfway through the season. =)

ooo, sarcasm

the reason i said that is because he refused to go through a dna test that could've showed how severe his heart problem was so it's his fault for not taking the test. and the bulls even said that if the test results were bad, they would've paid him $50,000 a year for 50 years or something like that.

yeah, i think me putting chicago as the 8th seed was just a sign of false hope for them. i think the wizards might get the 8th seed or possibly the 7th seed.

Many, many people refuse to take DNA tests to see if they have a fatal disease.
Case in point, cystic fibrosis. Mostly because there is no cure.
In Curry's instance, let's say he DID take the test and it came back positive. That means for the rest of his life he'll be worried when his heart would fail.
There is nothing he can do to prevent it. Whether he knows it now or not, the problem will occur when it occurs and the same procedures for treatment would have to take place.
If it were me I wouldn't want to know.

it'd be cool if he could get a quadruple double. double figures in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks.

i think eddy curry's point was that if he took the test and it came back positive, no doubt his NBA career was over. The money he's getting as a Knick now is much more than the $50,000 till he's 50 will ever amount to, i believe.

fyi, he said he wouldn't take it because he thought it was an invasion of privacy. i.e. he thought they were going to see if they could determine from a dna fingerprint study whether or not he'd start scarfing down burgers again, whether or not he'd show up to team meetings, or become an alcoholic, or whether or not his knees would give out in 4 years, or whether or not he'd ever shave the extra 50 lbs found in each butt cheek; all of which, of course, is bogus, because a DNA test can't test for those kinda things.

very messed up. i think it's bulli can't read, though it's understandable that the league has to make a statement.

bulls got lucky. we'll rape you next time, especially with marbury.
